The Conner Kitchen "Set"

Many people wonder why the conner kitchen changed back and forth in the first season of the show. The original kitchen set was used in episodes 1,2,7, and 19. All other episodes showcased the Conner kitchen we all know and love. The reason that the original kitchen appears in episode 2, 7, and then 19 after the pilot is these were the first episodes of the series to be filmed. They were filmed in this order:

Pilot
We're in the money
The Memory Game
Workin Overtime
Saturday
D-I-V-O-R-C-E
Radio Days
Here's to Good Friends

Etc.... the order we see the episodes in is not how they were originally filmed. They were "in the can" but then the network (ABC) decided what order to air them in.

They did that with alot of sitcoms, go to any episode guide of any show, and look at the production numbers, and they aren't in the same order as the airing order. For instance "Family Matters" through it's entire run aired out of order. See? www.epguides.com/familymatters I'm sure there are many others that do that too.
