Now that Rory has settled into her dorm at Yale, and Lorelai is rattling around in the house all alone, is the show going to suffer?

After all, the show relies heavily on the teamwork of Rory and Lorelai, will things be the same with them off on seperate adventures?

I was wondering the same thing myself...tonight they got away with it because Lorelai stayed over at Yale...which was hilarious! But I think that it is nice to see how both of them continuing to grow, have their own lives, yet still have each other (friday night dinners ;) ) and with Rory staying in Conn. it makes it easy for her and Lorelai to stay in close contact...but overall I really dont think so, ive read plot summaries for up-incoming episodes and even though rory is out of high school, I think that it will be alright...

It's so weird, with her being in college...it's just...omg it's seems so odd. I think they will be ok tho...it doesn't seem like Rory's too far away.
