LOL... just a few months ago, lots of you had a little T.A.T.U. fad going on. What happened? Got tired of the lesbian action?

well, for what they were, they weren't bad. IMO, I saw T.A.T.U., or at least "All The Things She Said" as a really clever updated Abba tribute band. Had ATTSS been recorded 25 years earlier, you would've thought it was an Abba song

they bought staplers and became so obsessed with stapling things that they decided to do that instead of singing.

I finally ended up hearing them for the 1st time this past summer after hearing *about* them for weeks & yep....they did suck. Techno junk w/ a gimmick. One of the bigger ripoffs since Milli Vanilli.

The reason you haven't heard much about tATu recently is because they have been concentrating on promoting themselves in Japan. They are really popular there at the moment and they will be playing 2 huge concerts at the Tokyo Dome on the 1st and 2nd of December. They will also be filming themselves as they record their second album and the footage will be broadcast on Japanese television.
The American public as a whole didn't really 'get' tATu but that's your loss. They will continue to go on to bigger and better things in Europe.

I love tATu - since the very first moment I heard them. I know that they never really 'took off' in America so it's cool to meet an American fan.

i only like 1 of their songs and thats 'all the things she said.'

anyway, i don't think their lesbians, their bi-sexual. yet, they call themselves lesbians. nothing wrong with bi's, i just think they should call themselves bi instead of lesbian cause i heard that they both have boyfriends. jmo

They better release that cd over here! I really like them!! Their music is fun to listen to, and I love to listen to that cd. Of course, I can understand that whole "American public thing" Americans, contrary to our belief, can be quite narrowminded

^How are we narrow-minded when it comes to TATU?... You make it seem as if we turned them away becuase they were lesbians. The fact is that musically they SUCKED.

isn't sucking actually a quota in order to make the American music charts right now? I am American and I HATE everything on the singles chart right now. It's all rap

I know of many people that DID turn them away just b/c they were lesbians. I mean, I guess I could have worded it differently, but it was jmho, just like you thinking the suck is urs.

at least you never have to worry about the entire top 10 being hip hop. Which is the case here. I can tolerate hip hop to an extent, but come on, where is the variety?

I agree with that. All the stuff on the music charts is so commercial...there's not any artistic value to much of it.
