Shows aren't supposed to come out on DVD til they are off TV all together. In 10 or 15 years, we'll see all the episodes come out. After all, the show has only been off the air 6 years!!

actually there are alot shows still on the air that are out to buy. Angel, Buffy, Friends, Sex in the city, Six Feet Under, Soprano's.. Just to name a few. I also heard that Will & Grace is coming out with the first season on dvd.. We might not ever see roseanne come out on dvd but I hope it does!!!

Roseanne wants to put the show on DVD, but she cant because of legal reasons with the guy who owns the show.

What about shows like "Friends" it's been on tv forever and still on tv. And they have up to like season 4 or so.

See, this is what I don't understand.

This show was pretty popular (noted the ratings) for its first 5 or 6 seasons.

You would think that the distributors would see this a benchmark to market this series somehow.

If people watched in then, what makes them think they won't watch it now?

I would purchase this series on DVD, definitely!

I already signed the petition but wanted to comment on the meassages people wrote on it. You just have to love roseanne fans, for the most part it seems like everyone is a diehard fan...either you love it or hate it. I think it's wonderful that a sitcom inspires such strong reactions.
