Well, Kevin is just getting himself in deeper and deeper. I wonder how much longer his storyline will last and what will happen to him. His character was originally supposed to be temporary.

The highlight of the week for me was definitely the return of Mac! I can't believe 2 years past since she (the REAL Mac) left. I hope she stays for a while. It already seems like she's going to stir up trouble with Jill. I wonder if it will cause Jill and Katherine to go back to their old ways.

I just write her c/o the show's address. She takes about 3 months to respond to letters, though. She was born in Michigan and lived in the city that I live in until she was 4 years old. I always thought that was kinda cool.

I really think Cameron is still alive, altho I havent seen anything about it since I missed that show!!

I just read the update on CBS Y&R site, so she couldnt tell if it was really Cameron, and she fainted! (I prolly would too!):lol:
So now I'm even more convinced that he is alive! Guess we gotta ride it out and see...wish they'd move it along a lil faster tho! it is gettin "old"!:crazy:

No, they didn't show Cameron's face. Who knows what will happen with him. I have a feeling they are going to keep this dragging on for a LONG time. Like Sharon said, he might keep haunting her like that. Maybe they will re-hire Linden Ashby sometime down the line and bring back Cameron. I wonder if the writers even know where they are going with this yet! Maybe it will turn into something like how Matt Clark haunted Tricia after he was dead. Speaking of Tricia, I would like to see her come back to the show someday. She was nuts but very entertaining. I also loved Megan. It would be awesome if they ever came back.

I understand how Kevin had a bad childhood.Many of us had unhappy childhoods.But the fuss he's making over being locked up in a jail cell is pathetic.Even though I can understand the association he has with that and his mean stepfather locking him up in a closet when he was little,how does he think Colleen felt being locked up in that cooler for hours on end?Not to mention,the grief he caused Lily.I myself am not quite certain that Kevin had anything to do with Brittany's traumatic incident.But all I can say for Kevin right now is,don't do the crime if you can't do the time.:(

Why did she leave a great soap like Y&R to do another soap??:confused: I mean, I could understand if she wanted to try her hand at movies or a different genre on tv, but why did she leave Y&R just to go on another soap?

I think she likes working on soaps, but she didn't like how the show was treating her. They wanted her to work less days and take a pay cut. I'm sure the money was somewhat a factor in her decision, but she said she couldn't work only 2 days a week. I tried watching her on OLTL, but I can't get into it.

Inspite of all that I wrote in my last thread,I found the more recent scene of Kevin in jail quite disturbing.Though it was very realistic as well.It was kind of like an insight of what goes on in jail cells.Unfortunately,that's what happens if you break the law the way Kevin did.You might say that I have developed a little sympathy for the guy.But at the same time I feel that what goes around comes around.:eek: :rolleyes:

Yeah, that scene was very realistic. I slightly felt bad for him, considering the rough life he had, but I can't sympathize too much. I miss Gina's! I liked it a lot better than the Athletic Club. I wonder what will happen to Kevin now. My guess is that he will probably won't die, not yet anyway.

Did anyone else highly enjoy the Dru's hair scenes today? I knew Phyllis would be hilarious, but she was just too much. I couldn't stop laughing. My favorite part is when she went up to look at Dru's hair and went, "Oh my GOD!"

I was taping Friday's ep but I for some reason decided to tune in at the last minute, and I just saw Kevin's flashback and him under the blanket. I must say that seeing him like that, and with the music they were playing, made me think that he was dead, as I thought one of the guards had put the blanket over his body. That and with his dad closing the closet door, I thought maybe he was in his final hell.
But then I was reading the tv section of the newspaper where they have a recap of the weeks soaps plus a little coming up blurb, and under Y&R's it said: Kevin tries to help his brother.
I suppose Kevin could help Michael out by being dead, but I don't know....;)

Like the rest of you, I had been feeling more sympathy for Kevin recently. While his childhood does not excuse the things he has done, I think the writers have done an excellent job of showing two sides to the story and showing that he is more than just a monster.
That said, I wonder if they will show flashbacks of Phyllis's childhood so we might understand why she is such a colossal Beotch and seems to take such pleasure in other people's pain.:p :D

I'm almost always on Phyllis' side, but sometimes I feel Dru is right. But in this case, Dru brought all of that hair stuff on herself. She never should have done that. She should have listened to her sister! It was very predictable that something like that would happen, but it was still fun seeing the results. Phyllis couldn't have been more comical.

I thought today's scenes with Michael were really touching. He really deserves the Emmy this year. He's long overdue for one. Only 2 1/2 more weeks until the show!

Colleen's time in Genoa City is almost up. I wonder what they will do with the teen scene now. She is the best actress of them. I wonder if they will bring in a new character. I find Sierra to be rather weak by herself. I also wonder what they are going to do about Daniel. They get rid of him, then recast him, then get rid of that one. I want to see some interaction between him and Phyllis!

Micheal Baldwin needs to get a grip.His emotional performance in the hospital on today's episode was even worse than my mother's state of trauma over my desire to move somewhere that is not to her liking,earlier today.I'm sorry to say that my sympathies end here.If Kevin hated going to jail so much,he should have thought of that before traumatizing Lily and her family and locking Colleen in that freezer.I don't know whether he was responsible for Brittany's traumatic incident or not,but the police force is not kind to crazy guys who go out of their way to harm innocent girls.It's just as simple as that.Colleen and Lily had never tried to hurt or kill anybody.Unlike Kevin.:mad:

:lol: about the whole cast being there to send her off. It sure seemed like it! I am going to miss her, though. She was the strong point of the teens on the show. I can't believe they didn't renew her contract. At least she (Lyndsy) will have a normal summer vacation now! I wonder what is going to happen with JT. Since Shiloh is gone, do you think he's going to give it up or what?

About Colleen's look--I'm not exactly sure, but I noticed something, too. I think it could be that she has bangs now. That could be giving her the new look.

I wish they would've given them more time to talk after they won Best Drama Series, so some of the cast would've been able to say something. I mean, I know it's Bill Bell's show, but it would have been nice to hear from some of the cast.

She doesn't seem like she has too much get-up-and-go. I kind of feel sorry for Michael. He's going to have his free-loading mother living with him, plus his self-destructive brother. Boy, just when he was getting his life back on track!

On the Nick/Sharon/Nikki/Cameron/Grace storyline....

I have always considered Nick a bit short on common sense and is just to impatient for his own good. I'll admit he was very crafty when he exposed the bribery scam, but this is different. I think Nick needs to bring Victor into this, he'll never do it, but I truly don't think Nick can outsmart Cameron. This guy can smell a rat, so it'd be only a matter of time before he figues out Nick's plan. I also think it was dumb to tell Grace and let her in on their thoughts about Cameron. I can see something playing out, where Cameron threatens Grace and she'll crack. She is standing by him.

Well, I don't think their relationship had been good at all over the past year for one thing. They were always fighting over the Newman/Jabot thing. Then Phyllis actually quit her job at Newman and was going to work at Jabot. Just when things seemed like they might work, it didn't happen. Raul and Brittany's relationship had been shaky ever since he found out she worked at Marsino's. Then the whole thing involving still working there and Bobby and her accident...

I think she views Bobby as a guy who has an exciting edge to him and can also protect her, but only Brittany knows for sure why she likes him better that Raul.

And yes her face is still scarred last time I saw it, but she is trying different things to lessen the scarring and she just had surgery to reduce it more, if not completely, we'll have to see when her bandages come off.

A few things..

1. Where is Victor?

2. This stuff with the skeleton of a child found at the rec center, creeped me out on today's show. I know Nikki is tied in somehow, but the two ruby's or jewels were found in seperate spots. Cassie found one in the cabinet, while the other was found today next to the skeleton. This is weird, and even scary if it involves the death of a child, and then the body was hidden in a building for god knows how long. I have read no spoliers at all, so I am clueless right now to where this is headed.

3. I think enough is enough with Lily, the guy has said he was sorry 5 times and it was a heartfelt apology, he knows he did wrong and is trying to make amends. Yes, she doesn't owe him anything, but she can't stop the guy from getting a job or getting a cup of coffee and she shouldn't demand he exit a place, just cause it makes her uncomfortable. I could never forgive Kevin for what he did to Colleen, it was the act of a madman. Lily came back to town, as a spolied, rotten, attention seeking brat. She was warned over and over, to stay away from Fisher. She wanted to make a point, and for that paid the price. I don't buy the notion that she was just some innocent girl who didn't know any better. She wasn't stalked or raped, she consented to it all despite the advice from her parents and friends. I admit Kevin broke a law, but the relationship was not one sided, she wanted him as well.

I completely agree! I feel that (right now at least) Kevin is trying to start over again and build a new life. Yet he keeps getting shot down.

Yeah...WHAT is with that?! Cameron and Grace seem to be able to come and go whenever they please, yet Brad, a friend of Nikki's, get's thrown out. Makes a ton of sense. I agree--someone does need to slap him around! Someone also needs to SCREAM at Ashley for putting his name on the list!

Victor is a expert on boxing, we saw how he took on three guys in jail during the Wacko Trica storyline in 2001. Vic was jumped, and still got the best of 2 of the 3 inmates he was sharing a cell with. Vic knows how to pace himself enough to handle a hotheaded man like Brad charging him. Brad has more rage and he wants to fight Victor, but I think Vic would get the best of him.

Ashley is the one who should be blamed for all of this, both Victor and Brad should make peace for Abby's sake.

But I don't think it is all Ashley's fault, although she deserves alot of blame for stealing Victor's you-know-what and starting this in the first place.

I agree it is pretty strange pairing. But I think because they are both kind of like outcasts in the town, that they currently need each other. But I really think it is a disaster in the making.

I definitely agree with the part about them needing each other, because they are outcasts. I think it is possible that the friendship could work and they could learn from each other. Yes, it is hilarious about Gloria hiring those guys to play her sons! She is really becoming a fun character (to me at least).

I'm also curious about the Cameron situation. It was said that it would be over by mid-August, however, as you said, a guy like Cameron would not go down so easily. It seems as if something huge has to happen to him for it to finally be over. We'll just have to see.

And on a random note, I have heard a lot of talk about a possible Victoria re-cast. If that does happen, I'm almost positive I won't like whoever they cast.

I agree about Gloria being very interesting. At first I thought it wouldn't work, because Joan Van Ark was on Knot's Landing and I just kept think of her as Valean Ewing. I like her though. I wonder what Michael is going to say when he finds out what she has been up to. LOL!!!!!

Thanks! Yeah, some of them take quite a while (many soap stars usually do), but some do surprise you with a quick turn around time. I'm next going to try for Victoria Rowell and Melody Thomas Scott. I've already tried Melody 3 times in the past, but apparently she will only sign if you send a picture.

On a side note, I forgot to mention in my last post how Daniel is annoying me in some ways. His attitude can be quite annoying. I know that he has had a lot of recent changes in his life, but he needs to learn to show some respect. I was glad when Nikki set him straight for interupting!

That "white boy":lol: is someone that Daniel hired(?) to attack Lily so that Kevin Fisher could save her and look like a hero. This all came about because Kevin wanted to change his image to the people of Genoa City and Daniel offered to help him do it with this pretty obvious(IMO) plan.

I don't know why Lily would want to hang around that guy in the first place. He was kinda creepy if you ask me. You're right though, I think she is rather naive!

I think the writers had to breakup Paul and Lauren, cause all signs point to Michael/Lauren and the must see when Kevin finds out which makes this pairing even better. I have always found Paul boring, but Michael and Lauren had to get together from a entertainment standpoint, it's what most viewers want to see and a can't miss couple. We've all wanted Michael to finally find someone, and since it can't be Victoria, there isn't a better option than Lauren.

I don't blame Victor, he even told her the horse would be there when she got back. The thing is it was Abby who started the conversation in the 1st place, so I give Vic a pass on this one.

I have a question concerning the characters lately: Does anyone work anymore?!;)
Nikki is too busy helping Bobby Marsino, while he is busy trying to get Brittany to marry him and getting jealous of JT, whose detective career has apparently taken a pit stop.
Victor is too busy "working" at the rec. center. heh, heh.
Lauren is playing footsie with Michael, who is playing footsie back at her.
Paul acts like he's doing something, although it's hard to tell with him, as he chats it up with Christine, who also doesn't seem to have much to do.
Neil is too busy trying to find Devon as he also tries to find a way to get Lily and Dru off his back. Dru being another person whose job seems to have taken a back seat to nagging Neil and crying over Devon.
Olivia is too busy trying to convince Dru to get off Neils back.
Ashley is too busy dreaming about Victor apparently, as Brad takes his daughter places while arguing with Ashley about her dreaming about Victor.
John is busy schmoozing with Gloria.
Phyllis has her son and his psychotic friends to deal with, along with Damon, who seems to have derailed himself, so he's in no condition to work either.
Jill is too busy getting it on with the guy who is ruining Catherine's company.
Nick hasn't been seen anywhere near the coffee-house, or the rec. center for that matter.
And Jack is just living off his families money for the time being(although I don't really blame him, it wasn't his fault).

The only regular character who still seems to be working is Gina, and maybe Esther and Mamie, although the last time we saw Mamie, she was sitting at the breakfast table with the Abbotts.

Have I missed anyone?:D

I was quite disappointed in Nikki's behavior when Abby practically insisted that her mommy(Ashley)join her and Victor for horseback riding.If you ask me,Nikki's gesture at that moment was rather childish.She had been so mature when giving Abby the new uniform she had bought for her.That was very touching.But once Ashley accepted her daughter's invitation,there was a scene from Nikki.Surely it would never have been Abbey's intention to make Nikki feel bad.:mad: Dru and Phyllis stuck in an elevator together?:eek: Now that should be very interesting,especially after their performance in the office.:lol:

I have been in that situation before and it really hurts when you love someone only to find someone else is involved with that person. That really hit home for me.
