Oh and how did it do in ratings last night?

I saw it. First of all let me say that I'm not a Charlie Sheen fan. I didn't like him in Spin City. I only watched the show because the critics said it was the best new sitcom of the season. I think they may be right. It had me laughing. I like the chemistry between the 2 leads. It reminded me a little bit of the odd couple. The kid was cute and Holland Taylor is always good. If the rest of the episodes are as good as the first, then I know that I'll be watching.

I am a Charlie Sheen fan, and did like the show. I liked it when Charlie was asked to describe his life, and he said something like:

I sleep with an endless line of beautiful women, I get paid a ridiculous amount of money for doing very little work, I drive a Jag, and this morning I made myself a pitcher of Margarita's for no reason whatsoever.

He's got it good.

I hope this show continues to provide us with well-written episodes, and I'm sure good ratings will follow.

Anahiem-
Yes, I did see Charlie on Spin City, and I agree that he plays a very similar character on this show. He does a good job playing the rich/confident/womanizer type. I wouldn't mind if they added Heather Locklear to the cast, as Charlie and Heather worked well together on Spin City.

I know *laughs* they use to be my favorite Tv Couple until the show went off the air (hehe I think its obvious who the new one is) I'd love to see her on the show they did work really well together

I liked it a lot. Charlie Sheen's character is terrific. His nephew is great and not annoying. Where have I seen him before?
The brother is good as the uptight Niles Crane type brother....and where have I seen him before? lol
I've always loved Holland Taylor from her Practice days.
I hope this show makes it. I think Charlie has worked hard to straighten his life out. With his marriage to beautiful Denise Richards and a baby on the way, a successful sitcom would complete his run of happiness. He's a talented man.

I am a Charlie Sheen fan. Been a fan ever since he's been on Spin City.
Seeing Caitlin would be great.
but i think there is a big possibility of seeing some people from Dharma & Greg since the co-creator of Two and a Half Men also created Dharma & Greg. Also, Chuck Lorre, co-creator, put his vanity cards that originated from Dharma & Greg makes an appearence on this show.
wow seeing Jenna Elfman on tv again would be nice.
you can always catch her on her upcoming flick Looney Tunes: Back in Action coming November 14 which also has Heather Locklear in it.
and it looks like this show is here to stay. Had very impressive ratings. It probably will be the highest rated new sitcom.

Very good show. I liked Sheen in Spin City, and he's playing something of the same carachter here, but he's doing a great job -- I think he's cut out for the sitcom life.

Anyways, this show is pretty unique, clever, and most importantly, it's funny. I also like how it is somewhat mature, yet much more family-friendly than many other sticoms out there. With a child star, and (through the first two episodes, anyway) a relatively limited focus on sex or other subject inappropriate for kids, this is an all-around winner. I'm kind of suprised it has such a late time-slot, but then again, they are giving it a strong lead-in with Raymond, which is great.

I hope this show does really well. I'm enjoying it quite a bit through the first two weeks.

So far, I am enjoying what I am seeing with this show. It's always a pleasure to see John Cryer on TV. Hopefully, this will turn out to be a long running show for him.

Three episodes have aired and I think it is one of the funniest shows on television. I have liked Sheen's characters in a couple of movies (Platoon, Major League, Cadence) but overall didn't think too much of him. Have to admit that he is extremely good in this role, which means the show will probably get cancelled.

I sat thru ELR (a show I used to think was the next I Love Lucy- not so much anymore) to see this because my mom said it was funny. Tonight's ep seemed sort of disjointed or slow or something, but I like Charlie's character, so I'll give it another go.

The first couple of episodes were good; the last couple...just average. IMO

You've pretty much nailed it on the head there!

Writing is excellent and appeals to varied demographic.

It is like My Two Dads the old Greg Evigan-Paul Reiser(pre-Mad About You)about "their daughter" but with a son

The first couple eps were really good, but it's not that funny any more. I like the whole Sheen-Estevez family, and I thought this show would have been better.
