Thanks for posting this GREAT news. The Odd Couple on WPIX; it's like stepping into a time machine. Now if we could only get it back to 11PM. The New York Jets were mentioned alot on the ODD COUPLE..as was the Mets.....

I guess Oscare being a sportswriter all the teams got a push..

Oscar wore a Yankees hat in Season One...Then wore a Mets cap the rest of the way!!

We know Oscar's favorite baseball team was the Mets. he admitted that in one episode... I don't know his favorite football team. The Jets are mentioned often..But he gambled betting against them one time...So hard to think he is a Jets fan.

. Although I only remember the Giants mentioned ONE TIME!! And that was the other Cosell Episode which had the funniest scene in the Odd Couple's history where Felix took over the play by play!!!

Oscar: Houston is playing San Diego for last place. The Jets are playing Miami for the lead I want to stay and cover that.
