Just wanted to express my continued sorrow and grief for the victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks. I am praying for their souls, for their loved ones to be comforted and strengthened and for our nation to be healed.

Yes, my thoughts and prayers are with the victims and the families. This country is a strong country; we will prevail!

I still have an old cash register reciept dated 9-11-01; the time on it is 7:46 am (reportedly, the exact time the first plane flew into the WTC, taking into account the time difference between here and NYC). I was at the Dillons grocery store, buying cupcakes for my son to take to school--his birthday is Sept 11th.
I took him to school, went on to work and the rest of the morning, watched the horror unfold on the TV set at the nurses station. My son turned 9 that day-later he asked me why the terrorists had chosen HIS birthday to do such a thing....

God bless the USA patriot:

Today at work we watched coverage of the memorials regarding September 11. We all watched as we then reflected what each of us did at that moment in time. Our company had a breakfast for all of us emplyees as we then reflected on what had happened and how it changed our lives. Our prayers are with the fallen, there families and those still struggling emotionally and physically since September 11. As a nation we have survived and stayed strong. No weapon formed againsts will conquer!

Today is a day of reflection and also thanksgiving. All I could think this morning was how 3,000 victims two years ago were getting ready for work, kissing thier loved ones goodbye, dropping thier children off at daycare and heading to work like any other morning, not knowing that on that particular day it would be thier last few hours on this earth. May God bless each and every one of them and thier families and friends They will always remain in our hearts as true American heros.
