Two observations about this episode that i saw:
1) Lamont was wearing sunglasses during the entire show. I wonder if he had some sort of problem that he was concealing.
2) Watch the scene when Fred was addressing his troops. You can clearly see Lamont waiting outside the front door waiting for his cue.

It was during the final 2 seasons of the the show that Demond Wilson admitted to having a drug problem. There are other episodes where he appears to look at cue cards, sound strange and look lost especially when another character is speaking.

I noticed about Lamont's strange behavior also in another episode. He was telling Esther about Janet being in Sacramento visiting her family. As he was saying his line and immeadiately afterwards he looked like he was spacing out. Totally expressionless look on his face. Ill try to remember the episode.
