Does NBC ever show VERY old repeats of SNL? I mean like 20 years old or sumthing- cos lots of people have like tape recordings of the first year-1975, and I didn't even think you could buy a VCR then.
And has any other channel ever shown SNL? The reason I'm asking is cos for the first time in the UK one of our tv channels (Paramount Comedy or it may be on Paramount 2) is showing SNL- and apparently they're showing it from the first episode.
I hope it's true- I've only ever seen the SNL halloween special on video- which was fantastic, but I've never seen a proper episode.
Hopefully the episodes with Tim Curry and Meatloaf are shown-you never know, they could skip sumthing.....then I'd be mad.....

They showed the very old episodes on E! not too long ago, I'm not sure if they still do. Besides that, the only other channels that air it are Comedy Central and NBC. NBC obviously shows the new ones and Comedy Central shows the ones from the early 90's (at least from what I've seen)

My local NBC station airs SNL from 11:30 - 1:00am. Then, there is something for an hour, and then it airs an old SNL from 2:00 - 3:00 am. Granted, it's been edited, but there is still some good stuff!

Really? My NBC affiliate shows the old Saturday Night Live episodes from 1:30-3:00 am -- unedited.
