Question about black and white/color eps

I really like this show, and I have a question. In what seasons were the episodes black and white and when were they in color? I thought that it was only the first season in black and white, then again, I don't know a lot about the show's background. I haven't been watching lately but today I saw the 2:30 episode and it was in black and white, but I'm thinking that Jeannie and Tony were married already, since they kissed on the lips...and I remember when they weren't married Tony would kind of avoid that. Anyone who can answer, thanks!

Season 1 was filmed in black and white and seasons 2-5 were filmed in color. To answer your second question, Jeannie was in love with Tony ever since she had met him, but it took time for Tony to have feelings for her, that's the reason why he tried to avoid the kisses from her. Then, finally in season 5 (the last season), Jeannie and Tony were married.

Thanks for replying. I knew all of that already though, I'm just confused because that episode I saw had it where they kissed on the lips at the end, but it was a black and white episode. He didn't resist at all. *shrug* Maybe it was part of the plot for that ep or something?

Come to think of it, I think that Major Nelson had always more than welcomed Jeannie's kisses from the very beginning (or at least did not resist them); he just resisted marrying her until a few years later.
