The cancellation of "The Real Roseanne Show" has left me disenchanted that this time around, Roseanne was truly forward in trying to get her project off of the ground. She's certainly more mellow, from what I've seen on her show. And she boarded a plane with her entourage, on a moment's notice, from L.A. to N.Y. to pitch her her "Domestic Goddess" show to the cable networks. When they turned their backs on her, she just trudged on and tried again, without complaining. I must say her new boyfriend (he scores lyrics for children's stories??) was a mellow guy and went along with Roseanne. Totally the opposite of her previous relationships. Her son seems level headed. I personally don't know if Roseanne hostng a cooking/talk show would necessarily work, but then again, I've never seen the finished product (thanx ABC Family). The funniest scene I remember was where Rosie was down to a few people who were in line to be executive producers of her show, and had rabbis "read" their faces so they could juge if their personality fit the show...Too funny!!
