Why are the VHS Tapes of the 1966 season of O&H in black and white and the Disney Channel's airing of them were in color?
Also when did Disney channel air the show?

Back in the 80's of course. Disney Channel usually ran the Ozzie & Harriet reruns. As for color, I don't remember.

Good question, the color episodes always seem to be in b&w on vhs or dvd. I did record some of the shows off Disney and about the same time i taped several news reports of Ricks death on Cnn, CBS and other channels so my guess is that Disney was showing these episodes somewhere between 1985-87.
