View Full Version : Comeback's over- "Roseanne" cancelled

I just read on thefutoncritic.com that ABC Family has scrapped "Domestic Goddess." Roseanne's surgery was cited as the cause, but the network didn't bother to delay the show, it outright cancelled it.

It's also expected that "The Real Roseanne Show" will go the same way, considering that it's literally promoting nothing now. I guess we'll find out on Wednesday if we'll see the reamaining 3 episodes.

Why would they just cancel it? Don't they care about the fact that she has to have surgery?

Hopefully the ABC show will stay on the air. She can do a reality show without having her own cooking show. It could be a documentry style reality show. Just like the Osbournes.

crap. poor Rosie, she was so happy that ABC Family gave her a deal. That really sucks.

I just read that "Real Roseanne" has also been dumped, effective immediately.

Damn- I really wanted to see it tonight. I had too work the last two Wednesdays

I'm pretty pissed off at ABC for doing that to her. Don't they remember when she helped the network back in the 90's with one of the highest rated shows.

No wonder it wasn't on tonight. :(

I just thought they were taking a break, maybe if we all write ABC, they'll bring it back. I'm going to go do that now. :D

I already emailed ABC, no response. I know a bunch of other people that have wrote and emailed also.

That's mostly true. They do respond to emails but very rarley. It's on rare occasions. I've emailed NBC about suggestions for their website and about certain shows that I love on their network. But I have never gotten a repsonse. I suggest one of us from this board go to petitionsonline.com create a petition and give us the web address so we can on sign the petition and all those people who visit petitionsonline.com can sign it as well.
