Some of the early MHMH eps closing credits seem to say 1974 on them. I am not sure but I believe this is an error. I think they ought to read 1975. I doubt any of these eps were filmed in '74.

The first two episodes have a copyright date of 1974 because they were both taped in 1974. They were both pilots that were pitched to the networks at the time - none of which picked the show up.

Sean, can I ask where you got the info that this show had not just one but two pilots made in 1974?

....produced in late 1974 (and have copyright dates as such), originally for CBS' consideration- because of their many deals with Norman Lear, they had first right of refusal, which they did. NBC rejected it {their V.P. of daytime programming, Lin Bolen, said she didn't want a show that would make "her women" [viewing audience] look foolish}, then ABC. Lear then sold "MARY" to local stations, and began producing episodes in November 1975 (again, the dates reflected the production) for release in January 1976.
