According to TVShowsonDVD.Com, NewsRadio is planned to be released early 2004. I'm guessing January. That's the bad news. The good news is that it Will be the first two seasons together! However, they say it's all 28 episodes. The first two seasons had 29 episodes. The one missing, I'm guessing is "Injury" which was produced for season two but aired in the third season. Anyways, I'm psyched. And 2004 isn't too far away when you think about it.

Plus, they said there probably weren't gonna be any bonus features. Which Columbia Tri Star didn't do special features for their other shows, so you really couldn't expect NewsRadio to get better treatment. Even if it does deserve it.

Well, at least we know that it's coming on DVD sometime in the future. I was hoping for October or November, but January is much better than never! Special features would have been nice to have, but I suppose we shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. :)

I was hoping the DVD would be out by Christmas because no gift would be better than a NR boxed set. Well maybe a pair of gold plated monkey puppets might be good. I hope it's wrong about the set being 28 episodes because U.S. fans have been waiting for years to see the uncut "Injury". As for the lack of extras, the only extra NewsRadio really needs is the pop-up version of "Our 50th Episode" on the 3rd Season set.

I know. I was planning on giving it as a Christmas gift to a few of my friends who have never seen NewsRadio before.

As for "Injury" I was really hoping it would be there. If they sold it in Production order, it would have been in the set. I bet that on the DVD package for the Third season, it will advertise "Injury" as the lost episode. Or something like that. I couldn't possibly complain about a NewsRadio DVD set. It's just that there are certain things I want in the set. I agree that "Our Fiftieth Episode" should have both versions in the third Season. But, and not to be negative, I doubt they will. It seems that the fans feel that to be more special than the people at Sony do.

I think it would be absolutely ridiculous for them to not put "Injury" on the DVD. I understand why the networks had some issues with airing it on national television, but I don't see why there would be any problems with putting it on a DVD. As for the pop-up video, I've seen the original version of "Our Fiftieth Episode" tons of times, but I've never seen the pop-up video. So if they don't want to include both versions on the DVD, I say they should just use the pop-up video. Aren't they both exactly the same show? But I'll say what I said before, it's a good thing we're even getting it on DVD, whether it be next month or next year, extras or no extras. :)

Usually once they release a show on DVD, they release one season per year. So if seasons 1 and 2 are released in 2004, then 3, 4, and 5 will be released from 2005-2007. If it were up to me, though, I'd get them all at one time in a big boxed set. :)

I have the pop-up video episode if anyone wants it on cd. You just have to play it back on your pc since is in divx format. If anyone wants it ill burn them a copy.
