Which of these 2 characters do you like better? I Like Tattoo alot because hes funny but i like Mr. Rourke a little better. Without Mr. Rourke the show wouldnt be the same.

I prefer Tattoo, because I like all of the crazy schemes he gets himself into, and he's always there to make Mr. Rourke laugh usually at the end of each episode, without him I think the show would be dull.

True, I Dont think the show would be the same without either of them. I Havent seen the last Season without Tattoo But im sure its not as good as the rest of the series.

I think it really hurt the show when Herve Villachaize (sp?) was fired before the last season and replaced by Christopher Hewitt (who would later play the role of Mr. Belvedere in his own series). Both Ricardo Montalban and Villachaize were irreplacable and the show wouldn't do well without them or without either of them.

Tattoo was great, but I prefer Mr. Roarke.

Wow, it's been years since I've watched "Fantasy Island" and I hadn't heard that Herve had been fired. I've been thinking about this show for a while (for some reason), and I am anxious to watch the DVD's. I remember watching this every Saturday night, right after "Love Boat". I can't imagine them firing Tatoo! No wonder it was the last season!ohno:
