How old was Gary Coleman when he played Arnold on DS?

I don't mean to sound rude but it seems like no one knows how old Arnold was when
DS aired. To me, he looked under 10 years old.

You want to solve this? Go to any world almanac and look under famous personalities and find gary coleman. I think he was born in 1968 and the show first aired in fall of 78 so if my memory is correct he would have been 9 or 10 when it first aired. Yes, he does look a lot younger than he is.
