Can anyone from Georgia or the south tell me what crab boil is? A guy came to store where I work the other day got some shrimp and then asked me where the crab boil was...First,I couldn't understand what he was saying because he pronounced "boil" as "bol" so I was confused. Now I'm not making fun of the way Georgians speak, I just didn't understand. So what is this crab boil stuff? He never really did tell me, I think it's a spice or something.

It's a kind of spice/seasoning that folks use around here to cook shrimp and other sorts of seafood and what not. Kinda spicy and really good.

Ok, Thanks for letting me know. The closest thing we have to it around here is that Old Bay seasoning stuff.
