I am so obsessed with my obsession Cheers that every appearance and every movie (which there are 10 characters) I try to have on tape...

My obsession is with the 80's sitcom Small Wonder. It's my favorite show and I'm so obsessed with it, that I have tons of the shows pictures, created avatars and siggies with something from the show, look up the show on IMDB on a daily basis, know the characters by heart, and basically now know all 96 episodes by heart.

Talk about being enamored with the show.

Oh, and I also have a SW desktop on my computer, screensavers of Tiffany Brissette (the girl who played Vicki the Robot and Vanessa), and have the theme song timed to play whenever my computer boots up. :D

I have a cheers shirt, like a gazillion tapes, the dvd, clippings from the newspaper, over 350 pics on my computer...and I spend way too much time on here..lol

I have three obsessions. Shane West, Three's Company, and Chicago (both the movie and the musical).

Shane West- I buy anything and everything he's in. Even if a magazine has just a paragraph about him in it, I'd have to get it. I know pretty much everything about him now. I search for pictures a lot, though there aren't too many different ones. Most on the internet are the same ones over and over.

Three's Company- I have about 70 episodes on tape so far. I hope to get all 172 this year. I have episodes memorized. I even found a Three's Company t-shirt in this magazine and had to get it *cough*. I have a site about it, but I really need to fix it up, since it sucks right now. I have the TC book, the Three's Company E! True Hollywood story, and the Three's Company TV movie on tape. I know lots of information about it too. I even wrote a paper about it for school..

Chicago- Now this obsession scares me sometimes. As of right now, I've seen the movie 6 times. I sort of have it memorized. But I do have all the songs memorized, lol. It's the best movie I've ever seen, but I also love the musical. The first cast in the broadway revival was pretty good. I like Bebe Neuwirth as Velma and James Naughton as Billy, but I don't like Ann Reinking as Roxie. My favorite cast is the London cast. Ruthie Henshall is the best Roxie ever. She has such a strong voice and plays the character so well. Ute Lemper is a pretty good Velma too. I have all the songs from the musical memorized too, and I can sort of play Razzle Dazzle on the piano. I know a lot about it too.

*EDIT* omg I forgot blend challenges! Yes, I must say, I love them so much right now I think they're an obsession. Last month, i tried one and didn't win anything. Then I tried again, still didn't win. Then I finally won an honorable mention. Then a gold. Then after these awards I kept going and going and just couldn't stop! lol. As of right now...I think I'm entered in at least 20 challenges at the moment. ahaha. It's addicting.

I've been getting better with my obsessions. I usedta get up at 5 every morning before skool just to watch some episodes of FOL before I went. Let's just say...I'm better now.

I do know that I saw Moulin Rouge for the first time on March 22, 2002. And that Ewan is 18 years, 2 months, 6 days, 9 hours, and 41 minutes older then me...I think...I might needta recheck that. And that he's 32...he has a tattoo...he smokes...has a wife (buuuuuuuuuurn) and two kids (sizzzzzzzzzzzzle)...he's been in one NC-17 movie so far...he's REALLY hott...he lives in London...I have his autograph...tho...unfortunately for me...I've never met him...of course...I'd prolly get arrested IF I met him b/c of the things...I'd...do. He would act while naked on stage when he was first starting out. . Dropped outta skool when he was 16. Has an older brother named Colin who's in like the Royal Military or SOMETHING and parents, Jim and Carol who I BELIEVE are teachers. I have 3 posters that he's in on my walls...a few pictures on my wall...some pictures in my closet collage and 9 8X10's (give or take a few inches on some) above my closet.
And that's not even IT...but I won't bore all of you ;)

:p

I am seriously obsessed with Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I LOVE that show! The stories, the actors and the writing it is fantastic! Ever since Buffy aired I recorded every episode, which is 144 episodes. I also have the DVD box sets. I also have 39 episodes of the show downloaded, complete season 6.

Here is a screen capture I took from the musical episode :)

My obsession is Vicki Lawrence.

I've made tons of stuff with her in it (my avatar included). I've visited every Vicki site I can find, read her autobiography, watched anything I can on TV that has her in it. I know her birthday is March 26, 1949, she is 5'6", her red hair is NOT real - she started dying it before she appeared on the Carol Burnett Show because everybody told her that she looked a lot like an younger Carol. Her first marriage was at 22 to Bobby Russell and it only lasted two years, then she married Al Schultz in 1974, had two kids - Courtney (May 5, 1975) and Garrett (July 3, 1977).

I know SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many things about Vicki, it would make your mind boggle. That is just a few of the things I can name. And I've met her in person. Na na na. :happyface ;)

My Obsession: Richard Dean Anderson/MacGyver
I've Been To Every RDA Site I Can Find. All I Ever Talk About Is How Great I Think He Is. I Make My Avatar & Siggy Devoted to Him Almost Everytime I Change It. I Know What Sports He Likes, If He Ever Had Kids, Married etc. I Have A Few Folders On My Comp. With Pictures Oh Him In It. A Couple Hundred Pics Prolly. One Of My Fave Pics Of Richard:

Most of the time my avatar/sign. is about Clay or Conan, but those arent nearly as big as my obsessions. You probably cant tell, but Happy Days & Laverne & Shirley are my biggest obsessions- particularly Happy Days. I have over 100 tapes full of episodes, Truth Behind The Sitcoms, Teenagers Throughout The Years, A&E TVography, ET in TVLand, ET Weekend Edition, Laverne & Shirley reunion- if its anything about those 2 shows you can bet its on tape! As for memoribilia-

Happy Days:
Dr. Pepper glasses, 2 board games, bank, view finder, 3 sets of cards, 3 lunchboxes, pictures, watch, trash can, Fonzie bobblehead, 2 tin posters, ALL the TVGuides, Mad Magazine, books...

Laverne & Shirley:
All the TVguides, board game, pictures, autographs. Not to much for L&S, but Im working on it!!

But yes, I am the biggest HD freak there is. If I even hear the title, I perk up. I could go on for days about that show. I even paid the extra $60 to get my license plate to read HPY-DYS. Now dont get me wrong, I love my Conan & Clay too, but compared to my shows, psh, they arent nowhere close!

I've quite a few obsessions

Steve Martin- I love the way he writes. (I've read some of his books.) He's the best comedic actor out there. He's just really witty and smart.
Conan O'Brien- The best late night host ever. I'm so in love with him. He always makes me fall on the floor laughing, literally.
Spongebob Squarepants- My favorite cartoon. People always say that he's my lover since I am obsessed with him. Haha.

And then lastly I love anything vintage. I'm into all the old stuff. I'm not really a new age girl. I like all the styles from year's past.

Oh oh and I like dolphins. I collect lots of dolphin stuff. I hope one day I'll be able to swim with one.

Dianechambers87- have you ever heard of that 10 minute cheers episode made for the government about premium bonds? I heard it is still in the treasury- but most of those old bugs bunny, superman government made tapes are widely available for download now- have you heard anything about this cheers tape.
I honestly shouldn't be filling your head with ideas- because I'll blame myself tomorrow when I see it on the news that someone with a giant I heart cheers banner tied around their waste scaled the treasury walls looking for a tape- and then fell off.

Hmm... I'm not really "obsessed" with anything. I do really love a few things though-

Conan O'Brien- Yes. If I'm too tired to watch his show at night, I really piss myself off. The guy's a comedian genius. Honestly.

Evanescence- My favorite band. I have every one of their songs ever made downloaded or on CD, including demos and remixes. Their music has just helped me through so much.

Coffee and Diet Coke- Ah yes. My trademarks. I drink both of those a lot

Livejournal- I love Livejournal. A place where I can just vent and spill my day wth every little detail typed in there.

Oh yes! Livejournal is great. And you also meet great people from there too, but it is fun to vent and talk about your day. When I write, all my stress just dissappears.

I also have all of their group recordings (that I know of) and an exstensive collection of their solo recordings and TV appearances. I've been to 13 Monkee and Solo concerts since March 21, 2001 and I keep up with their tours and solo ventures as well as other fans by spending my free time at www.monkeeland.com

NewsRadio is my obsession. I absolutely love that show. I taped every episode twice. On the UPN syndication then again on A&E, since both versions had different cuts. So between the both I have them uncut. Also I taped the first season off of NBC when it originally aired. I wished I hadn't given up then. It would have been nice to have all episodes taped off of NBC.

There isn't much merchandise for the show. However, I did buy a radio in the shape of a TV set, with a cast photo of NewsRadio in the screen. It was a promo thing by NBC. I bought mine off of Ebay.

I too, love the Monkees. I got every episode on tape from Rhino and season 1 on DVD. Plus I got their Bobble heads. Also, I have a bunch of their CD's.

I'm also a big fan of "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" and "Wings". If they ever sell anything of those two shows, I'll be sure to buy them.

I just got back from seeing Davy in Westbury NY (right outside of NYC) and he was fantastic as usual! The only problem was that it was a shortened show, cuz three other 60's bands were there as well (the Buckinghams, the Grass Roots, and the Turtles) but I had never seen the other bands before and I ended up likeing them as well.

Kimmy Gibler: (I used to  that show too! i remember being really little and crying cuz it was over and I had to wait a week to watch it again!) You can go to Monkee concerts too! They travel all over the country, although right now they are not touring as a group. Micky (www.Mickydolenz.com) is finishing up a run as Zoser in Elton John's Aida and there are rumors he might go with the show to Broadway in January. Davy (www.Davyjones.net) is touring solo, his shows are filled with Monkee hits as well as some of his personal faves. Peter (www.shoopies.net) tours with his blues band called Shoe Suede Blues (there are some sound clips of them available on the site) and Mike (www.videoranch.com) doesn't tour at all anymore, although he's supposed to be working on his new CD, NezRays and another book and has hinted about touring more than once, although I don't know if anything will come of it. I try to make any of the east coast shows that are within a couple hours of Western Ny but every once in awhile we venture out further than that. Hope that info helps! My fingers are sore :typing:

Three's Company - I have around 100-120 episodes on tape in SLP/EP mode and I'm starting to tape some of my favorites in SP mode. I've seen all of the episodes. I've made a site about it (http://www.geocities.com/tcsnowster). Yerm. I've taped two specials (E! True Hollywood Story & an Entertainment Tonight one) and the movie that recently aired in May. I've bought the book and I've memorized most of it, lol.

Dark Shadows - OoOo. I just got into this a 18 months ago. I have 700 episodes on tape that I recorded, 135 on MPI home video, and 240 episodes on DVD along with the special edition DVD (I also plan on getting 120 more episodes on DVD and another special DVD thingy that's coming out later this year). I have two books about it and I started a site about it (http://www.geocities.com/tcsnowster/DS). It sucks at the moment, but oh well. I've memorized most of the plots and just about all the actors and actresses.

Suzanne Somers - Well I wouldn't call it an obsession. I just know a lot about her and I like her on the things I've seen her in.

Television - Oh God. I spend a bunch of time reading books about TV, reading websites about TV, and - gasp - watching TV. This week I hit 200 tapes of recorded stuff. I just love finding out new things about TV.

I'm really AVRIL LAVIGNE obsessed!

I have about 100 magazines with stuff of her in it, I am in love with her lol, I own 3 copies of her CD, I have two of her singles, I bought the new 'Let Go' release with extra stuff, I own the Avril 'Sk8er Boi/I'm With You' DVD, I have HUNDREDS of pictures/graphics of her on my computer, I know the lyrics to every song she has ever recorded (even her old country songs), and last but certainly not least I saw Avril in concert on April 30th, 2003 and I got there at 12pm (doors didn't open till 6:30pm so I waited about five and a half hours in line) I brought my two cameras and used every bit of them. :)

amerian juniors and american idol obsessed.. I dunno I'm really not as hardcore with it as some of you guys are with other stuff. My obsession doesn't cost as much money since I dont buy memoribilia. Just the Cds. I do however rewatch the eps all the time, sit on the phone hitting redial for two hrs straight every tuesday, read message boards, I previously had a Carmen shrine... so yeah.oh and download all the songs.

My television obsessions -- one of my geatest -- is THE COSBY SHOW. Cliff and Claire are the coolest parents alive; Theo is awesome; and I would love to be a part of their family! And the way the show is done ... so reminiscent of and so like growing up in the '80's.

I have three obsessions: Rockapella, Laverne & Shirley and Harry Potter

Rockapella: I have 9 out of nearly 30 CDs (including solo projects), have over 750 pics on my computer (450+ that I took myself), created siggies and avatars, went to one concert and am planning on ten more by next April (which will take my to Indiana, St. Louis, Ohio, and Iowa), paid $15 for a PEN, have a huge Rockapella site (www.momentsofrockapella.cjb.net), write about them in my blog almost daily, have had 33 RKP dreams in about a year, have personally auto'd posters, auto'd hand-made totebags and auto'd CDs, have DVDs and videos, and I am planning to buy entire compilation CDs that even have only one RKP song on them, just so I can have it. And I'm having Sean - an ex-pella - do a gig at my house in a few years. It soooo cool that he does that sort of thing. ^_^

Laverne & Shirley: 17 or 18 tapes of episodes, specials, movies, and appearances, USED to have a huge website before homestead went dumb and deleted it, I have t shirts, puzzles, tv guides, magazines, board games, pictures, record albums, auto'd pics, articles, scripts.... basically every piece of memorabilia you can find... went to "Grease" and met cindy williams and eddie mekka... and lots more.

Harry Potter: Read all five books in 5 months (had to wait for number 5), have one movie on dvd, write about it in my blog nearly every day, read fan fiction daily, watch CoS every night as Im going to bed, check mugglenet.com daily for movie 3 news, going to see The Looney Tunes Movie JUST to see The Prisoner Of Azkaban trailer, counting the days until the third movie comes out, bought an HP pen and school planner, going to eventually make or buy a slytherin house scarf, loves professor snape

I know, I know... I'm sick.

I've been obsessed with other things in the past and present, but nothing beats my obsession with Three's Company. I love Three's Company, and even though I'm not as obsessed anymore, I'll list some of the things I did on my most obsessed point:
-have every episode taped, some even more than once...AND some specials about the show.
-Everytime I'd hear someone say something about it, or heard something about it on tv, I'd have to see what they were saying
-any movie with any of the cast members on it I had to see
-would NOT stop talking about it...I drove my friends and family crazy
-decorated my whole frickin shed with papers that say Three's Company and stuff
-had a cake and party for the 25th anniversary at my friend's house (she was obsessed, too)
-stayed up to watch it all night during the summer on it's day
-I watched it everyday, days it wasn't on I was watching it on tape
-was always singing the theme song or quoting something from it (once in the car I started singing the theme with my friend who liked it too and everyone in the car joined in, it was great  )
-I've been to every website about it I could find
-almost died when my mom got me the book, and wouldn't put it down once I did.

other obsessions:
Jimmy Fallon, SNL
Will and Grace
Computer :lookaroun
The 70's, 80's (I was born at the wrong time, I know it)
eating
and finally NYC :D

This strikes me as kind of a good obsession. Did you ever read David Niven's two books, "The Moon's a Balloon" and "Bring on the Empty Horses?" One is an autobiography with a lot of information about being an actor in Hollywood in the 30s, and the other is a history of Hollywood during that era, but has some autobiographical info. I don't remember which is which. He was right in the middle of things. For awhile, his roommate was Errol Flynn. Good luck with your obsession!

Ack.

Well... I may be willing to overlook that. ;)

I dunno what it is about Slytherin. I think it's cuz all the hot guys are in Slytherin. Snape, Draco, Mr. Malfoy, Tom Riddle...
