Which last episodes for certain characters are some of your favorites? Mine are:

Wings
125. "The Person Formerly Known as Lowell"
Lowell Mather (Thomas Haden Church) leaves Nantucket in order to join the Witness Protection Program.

NewsRadio
60. "Catherine Moves On"
Catherine Duke (Khandi Alexander) accepts a job in London and leaves WNYX. Meanwhile the staff, unsure why she left, each tell their own tale of her leaving.

M*A*S*H
72. Abyssinia, Henry
Lt.Col. Henry Blake gets his discharge and prepares to go home. In the final scene, Radar comes out and tells the gang that Henry's plane was shot down over the sea of Japan. This was also Trapper's last episode.

Cheers
121. "I Do, Adieu"
Sam and Diane prepare to get married. When she gets an offer to write a book, she decides to leave for six months. As we all know, it turns out to be six years.

Taxi
79. "Bobby Doesn't Live Here Anymore"
Bobby Wheeler returns to the garage, only to move to California to try and make it as an actor there.

What are some of yours?

Mine would have to be the penultimate episode of The Brady Bunch, "Top Secret"*, which was Robert Reed's last episode. (He refused to do what turned out to be the finale.)

* - The penultimate episode was "Top Secret" in order of when the episodes were produced, but the penultimate episode was "The Hustler" in order of when the episodes were shown on ABC Friday nights in the late sixties and early seventies.

I would have said the episode in which Shirley leaves Laverne and Shirley and marries that Army medic, but it ticked me off to see that he was in bandages and mummified, as if ABC were too cheap to pay a real living actor for the part. :angryfire

Even though it technically wasn't her last episode... it was her last full episode: "A Hundred Dollars A What?" Chrissy Snow. Three's Company.

Lwell's last episode on Wings and Catherine's last episode on NewsRadio were good. Also, the tribute toBill McNeal/Phil Hartman on NewsRadio was great.

I know it's a drama, but I have to add the episode on ER when Dr. Greene dies. Such a tear-jerker.

What I was gonna say. And also, I liked "Anniversary Surprise", which was the last episode as them as landlords.
