Gracie's left arm

I read in Gracie A Love Story that Gracie was around 18 months old and pulled a boiling pot of water off the stove and that's how she burned her arm.
Now, I am reading 100 Year Dash and that book says Gracie was 8 years old when a Keracene (sp?) lamp spilled over and the hot oil burned her.
Does anyone know which one is right?
I tend to go w/ George's book Afterall he was married to her.
