Since Reilly is coming back and I'll probably be getting back into Days again. I've decided to post a news and spoiler report whenever I get some. So here it is:

Top Stories

SOD is reporting that James Reynolds (Abe Carver) has been let go from the show. While he won't leave for a few more months, the actor was notified at the end of June. There was no comment from the show.

Also,
The actress that is asking to be brought back is Christie Clark who played Carrie Brady. The actress says in SOW that the timing for a Carrie return is perfect now that JER is returning and there is a Lucas/Sami pairing brewing. She talks about it in this weeks SOW.

Casting Rumors and News

It's rumored that Cassie/Rex/Kate/Phillip are all on their way out. They are supposively getting the ax. It's also rumored that Nicole and Tony are also on their way out. (*IF* Nicole leaves there is a big possibility that Brady isn't far behind. )

If Joseph Mascolo (Stefano) comes back it won't be for a long time most likely. He says he is happy at B&B, though he is thrilled that JER is back as HW.

Andrew Masset (Larry Welch) waves goodbye to Salem July 23.

It's also rumored that Kristen Blake DiMera, Peter Blake DiMera, and Vivian and Ivan could be coming back to Salem.

JER Storyline Rumors

It's rumored that he is getting rid of lots of people (which I talk about above) and completely changing the show in 6 months.
Marlena is rumored to get amnesia. (Which as most know is Deidre's dream storyline, as Dee says we could have all of those first scenes between J&M again. ) Bo is rumored to be presumed dead. Also there is some kind of "BIG GOO" story that everyone is whispering about, is supposed to start next week, and rumor has it that it may be the beginning of the "Umbrella" stories that Reilly is so famous for.

*Well that's all I've got I figure if you need weekly spoilers you most likely know where to find them. *:)

I'm thrilled at Reilly's return, though the axing of James Reynolds surprises me. I would love Christie Clark/Carrie to come back. I couldn't see Kate exiting, but I wouldn't be surprised either. I can't wait to see what Reilly has in store, I started watching during his run, and gradually stopped after he left. I haven't watched DAYS on a regular basis since March (when Higley took over; thank god she is leaving)

I just read about James Reynolds on Dustin's Days of Our Lives page, but it looks like it might just be a rumor right now, so who knows. I hope it's not true. And it would be very exciting if Christie Clark came back. I really liked her.

Now the casting rumors, I HOPE TO GOD that Rex and Cassie get axed. I hated them since their first episode. I can't see Kate or Phillip leaving but anything can happen. If Kate leaves then who will poor Roman be with?

I think it would be awesome to see Vivian and Ivan come back :)

About the storyline rumors, although I am thrilled to see James E. Reily coming back and repairing some damage to the show, I wish he would come up with something a little more creative. I mean, Marlena had already had amnesia before (yeah I know, bad example since she's also been kidnapped 8 billion times, lol) and so many people had been presumed dead and came back it's not even funny. I hope those rumors aren't true.

reilly has shown with passions that he has lost it.
it started out good. then it just drags. all this crap has still taken 2 years to do with the main characters and it aahs yet to be finished. and sheridan had died three times nowe in 3 1/2 years.
stupid.
i say let him stay gone from DAYS if he can't do any better than that.

James E. Reilly's flaw was that, during the creation of Passions, he had no vision for the future. He wrote basically the first year all the way until New Year's and then handed the writing to actual writers. Does anyone else notice that those first few months were the BEST?!?!?! I loved every episode but then the show started going downhill and people who were killed, kept coming back and then came the replacements right and left and then the dream episodes and scenes devoted to flashbacks. Frankly I am disappointed at where the show is. It could have been so much better if James knew what was going to happen in the long run. But anything is better than the crap that the DOOL writers have been giving us the past few years. I welcome James with open arms. I just hope he has a better vision for the future.

I'm outraged by all these comings and goings. James Reynolds has been with
Days for years, he should not be leaving.
If any actor/actress should leave, it
should be Arianna ?(Nicole). As far as
Christie Clark possibly returning, I
wish for her return to not come true,
I'm not really a fan of the character
Carrie. As far as the rumors about Kate, Rex, Cassie and Phillip exiting, I hope
it's not true, I enjoy their characters, especially Cassie and Phillip. If anyone
should return it should be Vivian and Stefano, but unfortunately, Joseph Mascolo, isn't planning on exiting B@B anytime soon.

I enjoy Reilly's writing, but if this is how it's going to be, I'm not going to be a fan of Days for much longer, he!!, I've already lost interest in Days a bit, the current storylines are dull. I trully hope Reilly can fix Dena Higley's screw-ups and get Days back on track and back on top.

Well, keep in mind that DAYS and Passions are two entirely different soaps with different concepts. I'm sure he can do a much better job with DAYS then Dena Higley has. I do have to admit though that he does tend to drag storylines on forever. But at least they're not crappy and slopped together like Higley's.

JER is terrible. Days is getting bad enough as it is. I think they should get rid of all the writers and get new ones that know how to write a soap opera.

I do admit though when Passions first started, it was the bomb! JER was fantastic during the first year. Where did he go wrong? JMO
