Do you guys remember when Dj was in 7th and 8th grade (which would be in the 3rd and 4th season(s) ) and has long hair and a big bang like hairstyle? I'm acne prone, and I would like to wait til fall til get bangs. I would also like to wear my hair down without any type of fasteners, but the only way i can do that without bangs (according to a beautiion i talked to) and getting my hair cut real short is to have a shaq cut with my long bangs pulled back to wear i can tucked them behind my ear, or something like that. Is there any way I can get a shaq cut without it looking like a shaq cut? and is there any way I can achieved Dj's hairstyles thru a shag cut?

When I was in high school, I wanted my hair styled like Uncle Jesse's (this was the early 90's). No matter how hard I tried to explain it, no stylist got it right. So, I collected some pictures of him from a few different angles. I took the pictures to a stylist and just told her EXACTLY what I wanted my hair to do. She was very helpful and I walked out with the best cut of my life. I still have a variation on that style.
Just get a few pictures of DJ from that time period. Preferrably from the front, sides, and back. Then go to a good stylist. Don't be embarrassed to tell the stylist exactly what you expect your hair to look like. They won't know unless you tell them. Talk as much as you can, they'll eventually get it. Then, when you get the cut you want, keep going back to that same stylist. I've had the same stylist for quite a long time now.
Don't forget to ask MANY questions about how you can style it yourself at home. Trust me. My Jesse-cut was very high maintenance. It took three or four sessions with the stylist before I was able to do it myself.
Hope that helps.

LOL... don't try getting that hairstyle now. People might think you never got over the 90s.

LOL that is so true! That hair cut is pretty severe.

Oh dear... Am I too late?! DON'T DO IT! That is late 80s/early 90s hair that best not be delt with in the year 2003. You know what I am saying? It was cute for then. It's not cute for present time.
I'm not quite sure I understand your problem--you said that you need fasteners to keep your hair down. HUH? And I don't even know where you were going with your "tucked behind the ears/shag" talk, so I won't go there.
If you want bangs for a complexion problem, I recommend buying some new magazines and cutting out a picture of someone with bangs that you like.

Personally, I LOVED how DJ's hair was. Although, I liked it when her bangs were sort of teased.
I could care less what people think of my hair style and I don't think you should, either. So what? I still tease my bangs wildly or off to the side sometimes and yeah sure, some people ask question or make fun but hey, if youlike it, then that's all that matters. Blessed be.

I found it kind of funny that D.J only had blond hair in seasons 3 and 4. I thought her hair color was naturally blond because remember when she guest starred in "Punky Brewster" in the "Milk Does A Body Good" episode, she has blond hair. That was only a year before she began her role as "D.J" in Full House.

I grew out my bangs just because Candace wore her hair like that later on. Never had bangs since.
If you want a DJ hairstyle, go for the older DJ. That style transcends decades.

Amen!
A shag cut is the best way to go now- I have a shag cut kinda like Vicki Lawrence's...My bangs are different but it's a lot alike for the most part. Vicki's the lady in my avatar on the left...Her hair isn't like that now, though, it's more flipped out than that. :)

Here's a picture of Hilary Duff from the TV show "Lizzie McGuire" that she looks a little bit more like DJ.

Since we're posting pics, here's one of my publicity stills. You can see I still have a variation on the old "Jesse-Cut."

Don't laugh at me, ya'll! I only submit this as proof that at least one Full House hairstyle can survive the year 2003 (and beyond). lol
