In the episode "Follow That Witch" several shots of the interior of the Kravitz house. My wife observed that the house looked like the same set used in the Leave It To Beaver series. Does anyone know if the same set was used in both series or if the sets were just similar?

Yes they do look a bit similiar. What really strikes me about the Kravitz house is that it's interior appearance changes dramatically as the seasons progress. In the black and white seasons there is one episode where Sam and Darrin come over for the evening and the Kravitz house is very large and has a staircase near the front door. In later colour seasons the house seems to have lost the staircase altogether and the front door opened directly into the lounge/living area. Also the few times their kitchen is shown in episodes it is always different as well.

I thought it looked like the Donna Reed house in a couple of the black and white episodes.
At least the living room.

I also noticed that it looked alot like Donna Reed's house. It might have been the same set.

Yes it was the same backlot as Leave To Beaver, I Dream of Jeannie and The Partridge Family. I saw a episode of Beaver and saw the same walk wasy and house in Bewitched only in color. If you look closely in Bewitched sometimes you can spot the Jeannie house. If you watch enough Jeannie you can spot the Stephens house. In one episode of Jeannie Dr. Bellows house WAS the interior of the Stephens house but decorated differently. If you watch the Partridge family will see the Stephens house. That would have made an interesting block party.;)

I have always thought that the Kravitz's house looked alot like Jeannie's house. Sometimes in the color episodes it looks like the Stephens bedroom for the Kravitz's house and also for the Tate's house.

The Bewitched house, Kravitz house (Also used as The Partridge Family house ) & Jeannie house ( Also used as The Wilson's house on Dennis The Menace) are all still standing today at the Warner Bros. Ranch. in Burbank, CA. the same spot where they stood years ago in the 60's when
it used to be the old Columbia Pictures Ranch.
The Leave It To Beaver house is standing today where it has always been at Universal Studios in Studio City, CA. Also on the same block, The Munsters house can be found with a little renovation to look like a regular house today!
Also the Kravitz home where Mrs. Kravitz used to spy on the Stephens home which was made to look like both homes faced eachother was nothing more than an illusion.
In reality, both homes do not face eachother & were only edited that way on film to fit the script.
I know all of this because I have been to both studio lots a couple of times & took pictures of all the homes!
And it was a dream come true!
Although these homes are made to look real on the outside, there was nothing on the inside except piles of wood & ladders holding the facade up!
All shows were filmed at different soundsatges in different studios around Los Angeles.
But Jeannie, Bewitched, The Donna Reed Show, Dennis The Menace & The Partridge Family were all filmed at soundstages at the old Screen Gems Studio, now called Sunset Gower Studios located a couple of blocks from Hollywood Blvd.
Today among the shows that use those same very soundstages that Samantha & Jeannie once performed their magic on are the HBO series Six Feet Under & the UPN Comedy Eve just to name a few.
Now the homes used on The Brady Bunch & Happy Days were real actual homes in Los Angeles filmed on the outside by Paramount & added as stock footage into each episode of those shows.
And all indoor scenes for both of these shows were filmed on soundstages at Paramount Studios on Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles, CA. not too far from the Sunset Gower studios.
Hollywood is so magical!
Go out there & visit all of these wonderful places...

Wow Jack77, you're so lucky! I would give anything to go visit those sets. Must have been an awesome experience.

Actually, Donna Reed was also a Screen Gems production and utilized the same lot as Bewitched, Jeannie, etc. I believe the Stone house exterior was to the left of the Jeannie house, making it the same as the one for the Mitchells on Dennis the Menace.
The Kravitz interiors in the black and white years were both The Donna Reed Show set and the Jeannie set. During the color years, it was just an alteration of the Stephens' bedroom. I believe the first episode of Gidget also used the the Donna Reed set, before using the Hazel set.
