I was mad when USA took it off. I really liked this show. Did you?
I thought it was pretty good. It was described by CBS (where it originally aired, from 1992 to 1995) as a "politically topical comedy series." But the reasons that I liked it were the chemistry between the two leads (John Ritter and the sexy Markie Post) and the comical moments supplied by Billy Bob Thornton and Ed Asner. Considering, though, that John Hartman (Ritter) was a conservative and Georgie Anne Lahti (Post) was a liberal, it is somewhat surprising that they became romantically involved (and later even wed). Well,
maybe not too surprising: after all, Arnold Schwarzenegger (a Republican)
and Maria Shriver (a Democrat) are still together in real life.

I love this show. It is my favorite along with Three's Company. I can't really decide which is my favorite. As you can probably tell I am a huge John Ritter fan. I will watch anything that he is on. I love him so much.:jack
