I never paid a second of attention to him. I'm not into reality shows at all. A couple of week's ago, he was on Leno (I think), and I couldn't believe what a great voice he has. I stopped what I was doing and was mesmerized by his voice. He sang a slow, old song....someone help me out here....

I know nothing about him whatsoever, but I know one thing -- he's no flash in the pan. He's got the talent to be around for a long long time.

SOLITAIRE!!!! That is my favorite song. Yea, he was on May 11th. His voice is amazing. He's the one artist that can make me cry- he lets you feel the song. If you like his Solitaire, you would love his Bridge Over Troubled Water. :nod:

He's got one full length CD and several singles. "Solitaire" is on his single for "The Way." "BOTW" is on his other single for "This is the Night."

He's gonna be on AI tonight...sort of. There's a special on. He's also going to be on the AI finale, but I don't think he's singing. He's 25. Is he married? He's married to me. Well...he doesn't know that yet...And no..he got second place. *swears at America*

A little more information about Clay's placement on the AI Finale... I thought about making this one a hypothetical, but who are we kidding? *g* Try not to get too inflamed (no storming 19 with torches or anything. What's done is done). Just thought you'd want to know the skinny.

Bottom line, Clay was apparently scheduled to perform on the AI finale, but when he changed management 19E changed its mind. They said they only wanted to feature "the winners" on the finale. He was then given the Greensboro hosting gig (not his choice). The hope is that they'll draw an even bigger crowd for Fantasia than he got last year for RBC. He won't be singing.

Clay can really hit and hold those high notes. He puts a lot of emotion in his songs.

I forgot to post here on Friday... well, Thursday was my Clay concert. OMG! He was so awesome, he sang 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered' as something new for our show. He made fun of our State Fair food and the constant rain we had all day... but he did an amazing job. I wasn't too far off either! Any other details... feel free to ask! Highly recommended to see him in concert if you can!

Yeah! He said in an interview he wanted to go on a tour this holiday season! :woohoo: Im not sure about the date.. I still think its Nov. 2nd too, but who knows.. how many times did they change MOAM's date?

On the Kidd Kraddick radio show yesterday, Clay indicated that he was 'working on' going back out on the road in support of his Christmas album once the current tour ends, and that he'd like to do something 'nice and classy.' He also mentioned that Celebrity Fear Factor had given him a call, but that idea 'got shot down pretty fast,' citing his cat phobia as something they would target right away. Clay stated that he'd love to do more television in the future, but that he wouldn't want to do a movie unless it meant something to him and felt like 'a good fit.' Well, I'm impressed with the list... if it is the tracklisting. I like how it focuses on the Christian aspect of Christmas, not the commercial with Santa Claus, that kind of thing.

LOl I have no idea. TTC said they got it from the Clayboard and they either got it from Red Hot Topic or from ClaytonAiken.com ... Im not sure though. Hopefully next month Clay will release his track list so we'll know once and for all.

Lastnite I saw the idols! I thought I was in the upper section, but when I looked at my ticket, I noticed I had floor seats lol. I think I got them mixed up with the Clay in Portland ticket. Anyways, it was really really good. I noticed it was different than last year though- they seemed to do more medleys and such. Anyways, I saw a ton of Clay concert shirts! Wahh it was funny lol. The ladies next to me were raging Clay fans too. I almost wore my Clay shirt but someone *COUGHJEFFCOUGH* said no. Haha but yeah, then waiting by the bathroom all these mothers were talking about how they saw a Clay shirt and almost screamed. LOlll.

Another thing about the concert.. I didnt see nearly as much posters this year. I saw one 'poster' that was written with a black marker on computer paper (brings me back to Justin G. on Oprah :rotflmao: ) whereas last year I saw TONS of posters and t-shirts, and not just for Clay. I couldn't help but laugh at when he said he had to travel through mud to get to the Grandstand at one state fair... I'll tell ya right now, that was probably for my concert, LOL!

Just for a little trivia, my birthday was yesterday, the 6th. So...my parents wanted to know what I wanted for my 21st birthday... I said Clay Aiken. After some deliberation and arguments, we compromised. They bought me the Aladdin DVD... LOL. I guess that's close as I'm gonna get... drats!

- "American Idol" graduate Clay Aiken will deliver a double whammy Nov. 16 with the release of a new album and his first book. The as-yet-untitled RCA set is a holiday collection, while the Random House inspirational memoir "Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life" explores Aiken's journey from special education teacher to pop star. Coinciding with both releases are a handful of TV appearances, including "Larry King Live" (Nov. 15), "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" (Dec. 6) and Aiken's one-hour Christmas special on NBC (Dec. 8), to be preceded earlier in the day by a visit to "The Today Show."

The singer is scheduled to begin a five-week holiday tour with a full orchestra next month.

Thanks... LOL. *sigh* My gift from my best friend was indeed Clay. Just not Clay Aiken... she got me pottery clay as a gag gift. She's like, "Well, you can't say I didn't get you Clay for your b-day! Just name is Aiken and you're good!" :rofl:

So is that the actual tracklist for the CD? Because I was hoping for more than 11 songs. 12 should be the minimum for everybody... especially with how much you have to pay for CDs. 1 hour CLAY ONLY special... yay!
