Ruben bein' in the bottom two shocked me. Also, when Hercules left before some of those other girls...that was crazy too.

1. When Kimberly C. was voted off before Carmen

2. When Josh wasn't in the bottom two because Ruben was there

3. That Grisby guy getting in the top 12.

others:

I agree with the Carmen surpassing Kim C, Josh getting as far as he did! .... and how Charles G got in the top 12...

Others:

When we found out Trenyce got arrested

When we found out there were charges on Corey

When Kim C was 1st in the bottom 2...

When nobody went home on disco night (not really a BIG shock but it was unusual)

1. Finding out that the show is rigged.

2. Ruben winning.

3. Trenyce leaving before Ruben.

And perhaps the funniest thing (not shocking at all) .. Clay's single selling four times more than Rubens! Now who won again?

:D

Oh yeah, I forgot... the show was rigged!! Carmen didn't get further, and Clay didn't win! :p

I didn't know Clay's single was even out yet. Weird. And I've only heard Ruben's on the radio once.

You didn't know that they both have singles coming out Tuesday? Yeah Clay's has sold 4xs more than Ruben in PRE-SALES. He's been number one at Amazon for the last 3 weeks, going to number one just 12 hours after it was put up on Amazon. And just read a few magazine articles if you want to know about the scandal around this show.

Yep, get "In touch"... with Clay and Ruben.... it depicts how the voting might of been in Ruben's favor and stuff. Really good stuff..

but another shock was - when josh was safe on disco week

Basically what SomersCompany3 mentioned at the first post in this thread, although the one with Kim C. getting voted off didn't surprise me very much. She was good but the previous few times, she was either in the bottom two or in the bottom three, not to mention all the criticism she got from the judges, especially Simon. I mean, I like Simon, he is a good judge and is very honest and right almost all of the time, but I just have to disagree with every negative comment he made about Kim C.

Dang, I listen to the radio everyday and watch entertainment shows all the time and did not know when their singles are coming out. I guess this past week I have been out of touch thanks to school.

And I haven't come across any articles about the show being rigged. Tell me about the scandal... how is it that AI could be full of crap?

ill tell u some stuff that was in "In touch"...

now im not SAYING Ruben REALLY won..... im just stating what it sed in the article

-They say that producers started favoring Ruben in order to get votes in. Like, when producers told Clay to add another verse to "Vincent", the song he forgot 1 line to, people believe it was to make him look bad

-The judges made it very clear that they wanted Ruben to win. Kimberley Locke said, "Simon says so every opportunity he gets".

-The magazine also fouind out that when some people dialed Clay's number, they actually voted fo Ruben. A Fox spokesman said he was aware of the complaint but said the problem wasdue to a telephone glitch in their system.

-Also, it seemed weird that Ruben won because a day before the finale, a USA today poll showed clay had 68% of the vote compared to 32% from Ruben, and also Clay's #1 on Amazon...

-People saay that they couldn't get their votes in..... but i actualyl think it's just becasue the line is busy [duh]

and they also talked about why josh wasnt there, and that clay and kim l are gonna live together

When Ruben won. Let me explain before you mindlessly jump all over me. I thought that both had a fair shot at winning, but I was leaning more towards Clay. Not just because I like him, but the majority of the people I talked to, online and off, said they preferred Clay over Ruben. So naturally, I knew it would be close, but though Clay would come up on top. It was a few minutes before the winner was revealed, and thoughts ran through my head. It could be any of the two. I thought I was sure, but the decision was split 50/50. When Ryan announced Ruben's name, I was sort of shocked. But then again, if Clay won, I'd still be shocked since I was locked in at 50/50. So there's my two cents. May the bashing begin!

If anyone wants to start bashing after that post, they can go jump in the lake! You didn't say anything that could be coined as "deragatory." In fact, I was where you are with this. I thought pretty much 50/50. Up until the end I thought it was Clay all the way. Maybe by that time, I was finally catching on that the show was leaning toward Ruben.

Thanks for that info from "In Touch," SomersCompany3!

1. Josh being safe during Disco Week. Like nails on a chalkboard.
2. The show being rigged. I think it was-- its just too fishy.
3. Rickey Smith being voted off so soon.
