OK, I'm not 100% possible that I will but I hope. In my hometown of Milwaukee they're starting to film an upcoming movie here at Miller Park called Mr. 3000. Bernie Mac is the lead character in the movie. (I love him!) Well, obviously it's a movie about baseball. In the newspaper today it said they needed people to try out to be baseball players in the movie. I suck at baseball so that was out of the question. Then I saw that this saturday they need extras to be specatators in the stands to film for the movie. Anyone can come and it's between 10 am and 2 pm. They did somethign similar to this like 15 years ago for the movie "Major League". They needed people to come and cheer in the stands for the movie (it was at the old stadium that's now crashed down). I was too little back then, but my mom and grandma were thinking of taking my brother but they couldn't! I have no acting experience what so ever, so I guess you just have to pretend you're cheering for a baseball game. I'll be really anxious for when the movie comes out and I hope I'll be able to see my self in the stands. So, if anyone else here lives around Milwaukee, you have your chance to come be in the movie, too! Wish me luck that I'll get there in time to be in the stands.

Hey, another MSTie. I don't see a lot of those kinds of people on these boards. The series is on at 9:00 AM eastern and pacific on the Sci-Fi Channel. They are running out of episodes that they can legally show due to rights so I stopped watching it.
Go to some Brewers games. It'll look good on your resume when you apply for the 'Fan in the Stands' roll. ;) Good Luck!:)

Thanks! Actually I am going to a Brewers game on Friday night. I was going to this game long before I knew about the movie extra thing the next day. It's a night came so I have to come right back there on Saturday morning. I don't think this is a try-out thing. I believe anyone that comes and wants to do it can be in the stands. There's plenty of seats! This is one good way to get all the seats filled because they sure aren't for Brewers games!! lol, cuz they suck!
BJL, thanks! I didn't know MST3K was on the Sci-Fi channel anymore. I used to watch it on Saturday afternoons.

Hey Good Luck to you! My dad's cousin's wife is a extra in "Seabiscuit" coming out this July. She had to dress in period clothes. She said it was an experience she'll never forget. It looks like a great movie.

Hi, well, today was the casting call! It was a bit different than I thought it would be. They didn't do any filming today. I got there a little after 9 am and the doors would open at 10. There was a line outside the door of about 200 or 250 people in front of me. Well, of course, I thought it was a long line, but then after an hour or so there were about 500 or more people behind me! So, I was pretty lucky to get there early. Anyways, I waited in line for about an hour and 45 minutes. I know it was less than 2 hours. When you get to the table you give them the form that you filled out and the picture of yourself you brought. The guy asked me a few questions. I said I had no acting experience, but I did do a one time modeling thing for Fashion Bug. The extras thing is for more rolls than just an crowd at a baseball game (others are vendors, photographers, etc). Well, they say they could call you anytime between now and early August. So, I doubt I'll hear, but if I do I'll be surprised! It IS a paying job, I also found out. Local TV stations were also there and I watched the news, but I didn't see myself on there!
