Ugh, I'm dealing with one right now in an IM. I just want to hit something.

What do you do when you're dealing with one? Do you just ignore them or tell them they're a know-it-all?

They're so effing annoying!

I deal with one at school. I just be really sarcastic to her and act like a know-it-all back. Only to her, though. Not everyone else.

i'm a know it all but i try not to be an ass about it, except to people who i dislike and there are good reasons to put them down. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

I don't mind know-it-alls. They don't bother me much. If they wanna gloat, I let them do so, as long as they don't OD it.

However, the thing that drives me nuts though, are poeple who "try" to be know-it-alls when they really don't know anything-- phonies, lol.

Oh my lord, know-it-alls bug the hell out of me. I chew them out when they get like that, because as far as I'm concerned, they need to be brought back to the real world.

They totally get on my nerves!! I could smack them upside the head. Usually I compete with them. They start acting like they know it all about something, I'll ask a really hard question about the subject and if they don't know it then I'll tell them all about it, knocking them off their pedestals!!! Or if I really have no clue, I'll just act smarter than they are, change the subject to something I know a lot about and then beat their know-it-all pride down. Yeah, the old saying "Don't stoop to their level." it just doesn't work for me, so I just beat them at their own game, you know "fight fire with fire."

That's how one of my mom's friends is. It annoys the crap out of me, but I have the outlook that I know alot more about certain things that they no nothing about. :D (If that made any sense.)
