I read somewhere that this episode was not aired in France. Does anybody know something about it?
Not that I've ever seen this episode, otherwise I would've been able to take a guess...

So if anyone can tell me what's it about and why wasn't it aired in France, I'd be grateful, cause it's been buggin' me ever since I read about it.

I am not for sure, but I will take a stab at this. The episode was about Ruthie having a school assignment to email a soldier that was in the war. She got a couple of emails back from this guy, but she soon found out that the guy she had been given to write to had died during the war. (thats what I had to say about the episode:))

**the only reason I could figure that France wouldn't want to air it is because of the recent uprisings between America and France about the war with Iraq.**

The Camdens learn about Marine Staff Sgt. Morgan through Ruthie's email correspondence with him and are devastated when they learn of his death while on duty in Afghanistan. CeCe Winans performs "The Star-Spangled Banner" in a moving memorial service scene led by Reverend Camden dedicated to Staff Sgt. Morgan with his family and actual representatives of the Marine Corps in attendance. Additionally, Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Ernest Borgnine guest-stars. (this is what www.thewb.com had to say about the episode.)

Heres a link to this page I am reading: http://thewb.com/Shows/Episode/0,8201,||604,00.html

The whole link doesn't appear as a url, but you will have to type everything written about to get to the page.
