I cannot believe that the E channel does not do a True Hollywood story about Knots Landing. That Show was much better then Dallas, or Dynasty. Who can ever forget when Abby arrived on the cul-de-sac in 1980. When Abby stole Gary from Valene or her involvement in kidnapping plot of Val's babies. Who can ever forget the friendship between Val and Karen or the Love between Val and Gary. Well I cannot and What is needed is for recognition of this great show with a behind the scenes review.
The characters were real and not Just one card board characters.
Gary, Val, Karen, Mack, Abby, Laura, Greg, Paige, Lillimae, Michael, and Eric were great. Knots Landing needs to recognize for the great show it was.

Great idea! I loved that show.
I remember when Halle Berry was on it.. it must have been her tv debut, because she was obviously an unknown back then. She played the girlfriend of the black neighbor next door. I can't remember the neighbor's name, but it was near the end of the series run, and the actor later died of AIDS.

Wasn't his name Larry Riley? I really liked his character. But I don't remember Halle Barry on Knots!

That's it, Larry Riley... I liked his character as well. Halle played his girlfriend, and the young girl who played his daughter of course was troubled (typical teen), and didn't like Halle.
I read somewhere else that Kristen Alfonso (Hope, DOOL) was also on Knot's. I don't recall that. Does anyone else? If so, what character did she play? I know Brian Austin Greene was Abbey's son, maybe she played Olivia, Abbey's daughter? It's been too many years:confused:

Olivia was played by Tonya Crowe.

I don't think Kristen Alfonso was on Knots Landing. I believe she was on Falcon Crest.

She was on Falcon Crest for two years beginning in 1988.
