Isn't Lisa great?

A lot of TV icons get put on the back burners and are considered in later years as has beens. Lisa Whelchel may not be acting now, but to me she is not in the has been stage. She decided not to do the Pilot show after FOL but decided to get married and stay committed to her husband and raise her 3 kids. She is a minister's wife and I think that is terrific. It is great that she can to those NAN promos for FOL, write a book on something that is of great help to people and find time to do the reunion movie. At 37 (12 years from when the show ended) she has still kept up her looks, a positive attiude and is an inspiration.

I totally agree!! Lisa is still great, why could no one else do those funny nick at nite promos? She realizes people love(d) FOL, and why not give 'em what they want? Lisa and her family seem wonderful, her daughter Haven is her twin!!

I agree too. Did anyone see ET on Saturday,the 'Mysteries and Scandels' thing?
Lisa was on there talking about the pressures of Hollywood to lose weight back then. It showed a few little other things. Pretty cool.
