Hello all,
I just wanted to say what a great show The Facts Of Life is. I used to live in a very rural area and we did not get NBC, so I missed out on it when it was first on. My friends all watched it though, and I wondered what it was about. Now I've started watching it on Nick At Nite. Sometimes its a bit corny but at its heart its about true friendship.
What really gets to me is the moral they have to every episode. They just don't make TV like that anymore. Now its trash city, and believe me I'm no prude but I can't believe what they get away with now. Even at 8PM it's sexual innuendos galore.
I just wish Nick At Nite would show all the episodes in sequence. They seem to be skipping around alot. One night they are living over the cafeteria at Eastland, the next living over Edna's Edibles. What's up with that? I'd like to watch it in order.
Anyway, Jo rules. She's alot like me actually. I even had that denim jacket that she has.
Thank God for Nick At Nite eh? What's better than Lucy, Brady Bunch, Laverne & Shirley, Three's Company, The Jeffersons and The Facts Of Life? Certainly nothing on network tv.

I totally agree with that. Today's TV is total trash. Can you imagine some of these shows being on NAN 20 years from now?

Since I was 2 yrs old I have watched the facts of life because my older sister who was twelve at the time did. Now at the age of 22 yrs old In watch reruns on nick at nite as if it was the first time all over again. I wish i had these reruns when i was in high school. I couldve related a alot more than when i was life two..lol. Anyway i wish they did episodes in sequence cause there are a few i would like to see from when they were living over the cafeteria like when tootie is jermain jackson's m=number one fan, or when they have the paint fight in their room, or when they share the bathroom...so many missed..hopefully not forgotten. thank you nick at nite, these reruns are better than shows on today.....
