Family Matters/Full House
Family Matters/Step By Step
Different Strokes/Silver Spoons

These crossovers only occured because those show were on back to back from one another and i guess the producers were aiming for higher ratings.

Family Matters which is based in Chicago crossed over with two shows that were based in San Francisco and Wisconsin. No sense at all.

And Different Strokes which was based in New York City crossed over with Silver Spoons which was not in NYC. Plus Arnold was never a school newspaper reporter on Different Strokes so why was he a reporter on Silvers Spoons? Once again-made no sense.

If you can add to this list feel free.

I'm pretty sure Arnold WAS a school reporter. At least in the last few seasons of the show. Remember the "last" episode where he investigated the football, or whatever, team? Not sure if it was school related, it's been close to a year since watching the show.

Nope, Arnold didn't become a school newspaper reporter until after that crossover episode with Silver Spoons. That crossover episode aired in 1982 And from 80-82 on Different Strokes, there was never a episode of Arnold being a reporter for his school newspaper.

Ahhhh. Okay. Didn't realize that, LOL. You're right then, the crossover made no sense.

I think you can find some of answers at the link provided below, in the link there is a list of spin-offs and crossovers that give explanation as to how they are related, I believe some of them that you wrote about are on the list: http://www.poobala.com/crossoverlist.html

I seen those crossovers on that sight and still none of them made sense. Urkel was supposed to be visting a cousin on Full House and we never saw that cousin on Family Matters. Also when Urkel landed on the picnic table of the Lamberts on Step by Step was weird because Step by Step was based in Wisconsin and Family Matters was based in Chicago.

By the way, I just went to that site and the Family Matters/Full House and Family Matters/Step By Step was removed from the crossover list I guess because it made no sense.

Illinois and Wisconsin border each other. We used to go to Wisconsin every single summer because the ride was so short. I believe it's only 4 hours to Green Bay. With his technology, he could have easily ended up in Wisconsin. Hey, if Urkel can make a cool clone of himself, he could end up north of the border. It's not all that impossible.

Let's be serious, Urkel lived in Chicago and the Lambert Family lived in Port Washngton. Yes you probably could drive to wisconsin from Chicago but not FLY like Urkel did.

I'm serious. Have you ever lived in Chicago? No. I lived there for 15 years, so I think I know more about the area than you do. Driving only takes so long because of the heavy traffic on the interstates. Flying would take even less time. I bet he could get there in less than two hours.

LOL- no Urkel didn't fly by plane he had on a space suit and flew through the roof of the Winslow Home and kept flying straight up in the air. Yes if he flew by plane-the crossover would have made more sense.

I was talking about a space suit. Taking an airplane wouldn't make much sense because the trip would take less than a half an hour. You obviously don't know how close the place is or else you wouldn't be argueing with me about a topic that I obvioously know more about.
