Christian passed away today according to a reliable source. He has been ill and in the hospital for some time. He was returned home and passed away around noon, in West Hollywood.

His name was not Christian. It was Chris. He is often credited as Christohper too

It is a very sad time for fans of the show. Mr. Belvedere was an icon growing up. Everyone who I've informed of his passing has the same reaction. The are touched with sadness at his loss and also graced with the memories that were provded by this show. It was never a ratings giant but it had a loyal audience who enjoyed the show for what it was. Thanks, Mr. B

I just heard about his death on Entertainment Tonight. He was eighty years old. Farewell ol' chum.

Here's an article on his death.

On a side note, is it just me or did he not look 64-65 when Mr. Belvedere premiered? He looked like he was in his late 40's to early 50's. Bob Uecker looked older than him.

Thanx a ton, Madness. I was hoping to maybe make it to his funeral or memorial service, and that article listed it, so now I can say goodbye properly.
