has anyone heard the rumor about clay being gay? does anyone know if this is true. someone said that the girl from last year that fell underneath the table, the "coresspondent'' this year said it? is it true?:confused:

I've heard the rumor. I most recently read stuff about it in "The Star." Clay, I guess says it's totally untrue. There have also been rumors that there was something going on between Carmen and Clay. Some people have thought they got real close during performances and such. Since she's gone, I can't exactly look for myself on that one. I never noticed it when she was on. And I have no idea if these rumors are true.

Yeah. You'd think that since he's said so, that would be the end of it. But not for tabloids. They have to keep the rumor going. It's mean.

Carmen said in her TVGuide.com interview that she has a crush on Clay ;)

Just because sometimes he makes gay gestures.... that doesnt mean he's gay. I dont think hes gay. If he says hes not gay, then drop it..... and plus, if he is gay... people realy shoodnt make it a BIG deal...

Well if he's not with Carmen then he's with either Ryan Seacrest or Neil Sedaka :p

To be honest I don't really care about his sexual prefrence BUT he comes off as gay.

I do agree that Clay comes off a bit gay- but its because hes so theatrical with his performances. When he sings ballads he doesnt seem it... but meangya when he sings upbeat tunes with this facial expressions, yah lol. But, IMO I dont think he is.

Clay is NOT gay. I live in the Tampa Bay Area, and on one of the local news stations, they found his highschool-sweet heart (a GIRL), who lived near Tampa. She said nothing about him having a girlish nature, nor being gay, although no one asked. She showed pictures of her and Clay when they were together. This is proof that Clay Aiken is not gay. Even if he was, it wouldn't change my opinion about him: HE SHOULD HAVE WON!!! ^__^
