Sorry if this is a rehash, just found these boards...

There was an episode that started out with the Simpson clan going to a factory. I BELIEVE it was a candy-apple factory, or something of the sort. Maybe Pumpkin something? More of a food-creating place than a factory.

Marge is delighted, Homer is trudging behind. Marge comments on how wonderfull a day it is, Homer sarcastically replies with "Yeah, all those sorry suckers are sitting at home watching the Super Bowl", or something like that (definately Super Bowl, though)

A minute later He and his brain have an argument. The qoutes are the actual lines, but are close enough:

Brain: "Lets get out of here"
Homer: (whining) I caaan't..."
Brain: "Well, you can stay if you want to, I'm leaving!"

At this, you see a transparent brain exiting Homer's head, and floats out the door.

About 2 seconds later, Homer, eyes wide open and mouth agape, slumps down on his ear, butt in the air, face with the blank look.

I think the expression on his face is priceless, and would love to either find a video clip, cideotape, image, even the sound of that clip, but for the life of me I can't remember the episode it was, or even what the real plot of the episode was about.

does this ring a bell for anyone? This was the very start of the episode, and din't have much to do with the rest of it.

If anyone can let me know what episode it was, I will be very gratefull!!

That's the Rodney Dangerfield episode where he plays Larry Burns, Mr. Burns long lost son. It's the 7th game of the world series Homer comments on, isn't it? Apple cider mill is the place, forgot it's name.
