Marilyn was legally adopted by Herman and Lily! She coud not have had the name Munster by birth as she isn't related to Herman by blood. Herman often said talking about Marilyn's pretty face (like in Munster Go Home) "Well don't look at me!She's your sister's kid you know. No one on my side of the family ever looked like that!" Or something 98% like that!
