Did anyone else think she was a totally the wrong person for that role?...

You mean Heather Matarazzo. DJ shouldn't have even had a girlfriend in my opinion. Explain why you think she was wrong for the role?

I thought she was a good part to the series. She did talk weird, but if you think back on how DJ was as he got older, how odd he was and everything, then she fit really well with him. I think it was good to have DJ have a girlfriend. He was just always sort of strange (like Roseanne puts it in the series finale), and the fact that he found someone equally weird I think made it all fit together. The only part I didn't like with her was when Rosy is depressed about Dan and won't come out of the room, and she goes in to talk to her. That was weird. I would never do that with someone's mom I hadn't even met. I don't know a lot of people that would either. They could have done without her going in the room. But I think the main reason they had her was to show how everyone was going on with their lives. Leon and what's his name adopting, Rosy's mom finding a significant other, Darlene having a baby, Becky expecting...

Because he was always so pathetic and strange and it was just weird seeing him with a girlfriend.
