One of my students, a darling 8 year old girl, daddy was in a dirt bike accident almost 2 weeks ago. His neck was broken and he's been in a coma since then. They are giving him a trach today and trying to bring his morphine and pain medication down some to try and bring him out of the coma. This little girl is such a precious kid and her mom and dad are some of the funniest and nicest people I've ever met. If saying a prayer for someone in need is your thing, I'd appreciate if you could add this family to your list.

The news is not good for this family. :( Yesterday the doctors lowered the amount of pain medication to almost nothing and today a trach was put in. Mark was responding yesterday, although not awake, to both his daughter and his wife by squeezing their hands but today there was nothing. He's developed pneumonia and his body is not absorbing any of the food that he is being fed intravenously.

This is a good family, funny and lovable and they need all the prayer they can get. Please please keep praying for them.

Situations like this frustrate me so much. This little girl and her dad are buddies ~ they do everything together. Mark and his wife have a great relationship. Then there is my daughter's "father" (and I use that term in the loosest of form because he's not now nor has he ever been a father) has been 100% absent from my daughters life. He's never seen her, he wants ntohing to do with her, I can't even get child support out of him. It frustrates me that someone like him goes through his daily business doing his drugs and all the other things he does illegally and nothing happens but something like this accident happens to a family, a good solid family. :(

I can't pray enough for them. Please remember them. :(

Oh,that's really terrible. :( Yeah, you're right about bad people, who seem to coast through life and good people who have tragedies, like this.I'm so sorry for them and I wish them only the best.

Thats awful. I am so sorry, and I will be praying for her family. I can't even imagine losing my father at the age of 8, so hopefully this won't happen to her.:( :crying:
