These arethe questions that were never answered about the show Good Times

1.Why was there never an explanation for the Disappearance of Carl Dixon?

2.Why wasn't there an explanation for J.J's trip to St.Louis in the episode Rent Party?

3.Why there was never any follow up on Florida getting her GED/Diploma once she started night school? She started night school but viewers never saw her complete night school.

4.Why Esther Rolle's character on Maude kept the same name if the show Good Times was based in another city?-it was clear Good Times was not intended to be a spinoff of Maude which is why I don't understand why the name Florida was not changed.

5.The reason for the blue hat no longer being on the top of J.J's head after season 4

6.Why was James of all a sudden in Mississipi in the Episode Big Move?-it was clear the writers were struggling to find a way of writing John Amos character off the show. Him being in Mississipi made NO SENSE.

These are the type of questions that should be answered on True Holywood Story instead of how the actors got started.

1. No idea. I guess the viewers were supposed to think he was too sick to return to Chicago and/or notice Florida gone.

2.Good question and weak explanation.

3.I know we never saw her graduate nor did they say she DID, but since she later did become a city school bus driver, for her to have gotten that position, I think she would have HAD to have had the equivilant of a HS diploma!

4.Good question.

5.I guess JJ and/or the costumers lost it/got sick of it!

6.I agree!

7. In real life, did they EVER find out what happened to actor Ben Powers (Keith Anderson)? He failed to return to 'Mike Hammer' after summer hiatus and folks specualted he met with foul play but I've NEVER heard whether they found out what happened!
