I was lookin at a "Mama's Family" website and when they show the syndicated episodes they put "CBS Syndication" instead of just "Syndication"? Does that mean that CBS just aired it on there CBS affiliates? And were the ratings high for the shows 4 year syndicated run?

Maybe it was shown on several CBS stations, but I remember that our CBS Station in San Antonio didn't carry Mama's Family when it was in syndication with new episodes. They did not show Mama's Family in San Antonio until it went into reruns where they showed the NBC episodes and the syndicated episodes. The only cable outlet that showed Mama's Family was WWOR-New York and we didn't get that on our cable system until 1988.

WGN 9 aired it from 1987-1988 as well.
