It is hard to know what to think right now. There are so many loved ones who are fighing for our country right now. Some who will never see their familys again. The inocident men, women, and children that will die. For those people i pray. I pray for our presdent, and the people that are leading our country right now to make the right decions. I pray that there are few cashualitys in this war. I pray that Saddam gives him self up, or maybe I hope that of everything that he had done to many people including his own people that he die a slow, and painful death, but then i look to god, and what he would want..It is not for me to decided. It is in the hands of someone one that is much higher then me, or you, or presdent Bush, or Saddam...It's in Gods hands..I hope.I pray. Tomorrow will be a new day, and a sunny one. No rain, no bombs no gun fire. Maybe one day there will be nothing, but love.

God has nothing to do with this.
This war - and every other war - is all down to human beings and how greedy, hateful, self-absorbed, power-hungry and stupid we all are.

Maybe, I hope there will be too. It's a good thing to pray for. I hope you keep praying for it. I certainly will. :)

Crap! Not all human beings are like that! If you believe they do than I feel sorry for you.
God has everything to do with it. Although he does not mean for it happen, he plays the biggest role in it all.

I totally agree with you, Mossopp. Would the creators of human beings look down on us and say, "Oh well. It's our will."? I don't think so. If anything, they would be very much concerned with our destructive activities.

I agree one-hundred percent with you! God DOES play the biggest role of it all. He's the one that planned it all from the beginning. He is using this to his own advantage to show us that some good will come out of this and to make us stronger. BUT you're the only one that decides for yourself to take or reject what God is offering. In this case, he's offering strength. You can either take it or reject it. It's UP to YOU and no one else.

Unfortunately, that will never happen. Not as long as Israel exists.

The creator doesn't want people to kill others. In the book "Gods of the New Millennium", it is stated that
"The Israelites were about to become embroiled in an all-out war for the Nile delta. Yahweh therefore acted to urgently move the Israelites into the only available safe haven-the Sinai desert- an area which was generally considered off-limits due to the lingering fear of radioactive contamination".
-Gods of the New Millennium by Alan F. Alford, p.521
Now, if Yahweh (or what ever God) planned all our destruction from the beginning, why would he go through all the trouble of moving people to the Sinai desert and out of danger?

yet the US has been giving millions of dollars to Israel and Bush just offered them 10 billion as part of his war budget. the US needs to stop the funding to Israel as long as they continue to kill the Palestinians

If God planned for this to happen, then he's interfering in our free will. I was told all those years in Christian school that "God" doesn't plan whats going to happen, he just knows what will. Like if you were watching a marble roll on a table, you know that it's going to fall of the edge, but you choose whether or not to interfere with it. If there is a god, that is. That's how I've been told things work by Christians.

Sorry, I didn't mean to make that to sound bad. I mean to say that as long as the Israelies and the Palestinians keep on fighting, there might never be peace in the Middle East. I mean, they virtually want the same land and none of them is willing to give it up. The day after Israel was created, they were invaded. It's religion in that region that keeps the fighting going on. I'm sorry if my comment came out wrong, I didn't mean it to sound like I had something against the Israeli state.
Also sorry for not seeing this thread sooner.
