I wasn't impressed with Charles or Kimberly Locke. Not really Clay or Corey tonight, either. I mean, the guy can really sing. Just wasn't impressed with his version of, "Somewhere Out There". I think they should give Corey another chance. He was great last week but tonight wasn't too good. Rikki and Ruben were awesome. I really like Carmen tonight. I know a lot of people probably didn't but I thought it was pretty good.
I think they should vote out Kimberly Locke or Charles Grigsby.

My opinion: (I missed some so... yeah).....
THE GOOD:
Kimberly Locke, Ricky, Ruben, Kimberly Caldwell, Clay, Joshua Gracin
THE OKAY:
Carmen, Trenyce
THE NOT SO GOOD:
Charles Grisby, Corey Clark, Julia DeMato
Kimberly Locke... was a BIG improvement from last week! I was impressed. But IMO, she doenst have the American Idol image.
Ruben... I love his "A Whole New World" performance!
Ricky... Good! lol
Kimberly Caldwell... I'm still rooting for Kimberly Caldwell! Tonight's performance was terrific, but last week's was better. She looked really awesome too.
Joshua... His performance of "I Dont Wanna Miss A Thing" was impressive!
Carmen... I really like her, but tonight's performance wasn't.... great. But I'm not calling it bad. I just expected a little more.
Trenyce... I thought she was okay, that's all I have to say
Charles Grisby... well, I wasn't impressed, I was getting a little tired of him. As Simon said to Vanessa Olivarez, "He's a better entertainer rather than what this competition is looking for".
Corey Clark... His performance didnt give me that "that was great!" reaction. It was more of a "Yah, okay, let's move on"
Julia DeMato... Looked uncomfortable, nervous, and she really needs to work a little harder..
I still think as of now... Julia is the one to go.
My predictions for the bottom 3 tomorrow:
1. BOTTOM: Julia D
2. Charles R
3. Corey C

What did Gladys Night mean when she told Kimberly Caldwell, "I'll see you in the movies" ??...

I think she might have meant that Kimberly has a way of lighting up a screen? Yeah, that sounds good! :D
Wow, I was really surprised tonight by a few people. I like all the contestants, some more than others. Corey Clark kinda choked on a few notes, I felt. And Julia DeMato full out blew it and I think she knows that cuz she kept saying "Just trying my best" and stuff. Poor girl. Clay did really well and Kimberly Locke showed most improvement from last week. Ruben is a star! Carmen (who I totally love) maybe just picked the wrong song as did Kimberly Caldwell (who I also love) but I think they'll move on and make up for it later...Or at least they are who I voted for lastnight.
My bottom three picks:
1: Julia DeMato (Next to go)
2: Corey Clark
3: Charles Grigsby

I agree with everything that you said, although I don't see a problem with Kimberly Lockes size, and I thought that she looked pretty last night !!! GO RUBEN!!!

Wow, poor Charles. He was in my bottom three but I didn't think he was the worst of the three. :(

I'm starting to feel a little sad for Julia... I mean she's been getting negative comments from the judges, and she's been in the bottom two for 2 weeks. She admits she's nervous and stuff... and I just feel sad for her. She knows she has no chance of winning...

I loved the group performances of "Time of My Life" and "Footloose". I taped it and I'm glad i did!

Last thing.. I didnt really like Kimberly Caldwell's hair. I prefer her with straight nice creative hair. Not short and curly... Just my opinion

I didn't notice if they had the audio file of the group Footloose performance but they have pretty much everything else at this site. :)

I had thought she said, "I see you in the movies." Personally, I think Gladys said that particularly because she thought Kimberly has the look for movies but not the voice for music. (At least not based on her last performance.)

Poor Julia. She should have really been booted just to put her out of her misery. She looks like she is hating it. Maybe it's just the nerves, but in any event, she doesn't belong. She knows she has no chance, like you mentioned, SomersCompany3.

Thanks for clearing up the Kimberly Caldwell thing, Cashodeen... and also, yah, I agree with an earlier post. Carmen didnt do her makeup, so Paula shouldnt've really commented. And also, if I were Julia, I WOULD have a feeling of humiliation, because she knows she's not the best. She knows everyone thinks she's gonna be in the bottom 3. Ya know? I mean, I wouldnt be surprised if she suddenly quit!... But again, I dont hate her singing. She just needs to have a "stand out performance"

Julia's problem is she wants this so bad the thought of losing scares her to death and it shows. She was doing fine until they brought the live audience in and she got to see fan reaction to the other contestants. Suddenly, she realized how tough the competition is. Remember "Son of a Preacher Man"? She was winking and flirting with the camera. No confidence issues at all. She shined.
Not everyone can sing, dance and breathe with lights shining in your face and 10,000,000 eyes on you at the same time. It's hard work and these people aren't trained professionals. I feel for her but alas if she cannot handle this stage of the game, how will she fare in the entertainment industry later on?

I don't feel sorry for her at all. It seems to me that she has all together quit trying, and that she probably wants to leave the show.

I mightve missed his performance, or wasnt paying attention, but why do people refer to Ricky as Hercules?

Lol, I think it was when he was told he was "going to Hollywood" during his tryout. He clapped his hands and cheered, "Hercules! Hercules!"
