Narrow minded people suck. We all have to put up with them. I pay no mind to them though. I'm living my life the way I want to so f*ck them and what they have to say about it.

Now, about your friend. If she really is your true friend she won't turn her back on you. It's as simple as that. Your sexuality shouldn't affect the friendship.

yes there are tons of narrow minded people. i was afraid to come out to my friends, but in the end everything worked out great and they were really cool about it.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of people around here like your friends. That's really good that they were cool about it. I always have one person that would understand everything though... so whatever I turn out to be (straight, bi, les, or purple ;)) I know she'll understand and just accept that.

Good luck Kar. I hope everything goes well. Be thankful for that one person. If you have one person who understands you than you're lucky because lots of people don't have anyone. I'm very thankful because I have understanding friends who accept me for who I am.
