Ricky first learned he was going to be a father at the Tropicana. If you haven't seen this episode before, it is a must-see. Ricky receives a note from an audience member for a song request, saying that she's expecting and that she'll tell her husband the news while he's singing. Ricky goes around to the women in the audience, trying to figure out who it is. When he comes to Lucy, he jokingly asks if it's her. When she says yes, he's overjoyed and starts singing to her. The episode ends with both Lucy and Ricky crying (Lucille and Desi had quite a bit of trouble conceiving in real life, so they understandably became quite emotional when this show was filmed).
