BURBANK, Calif. - NBC is looking for engaged lovebirds who would like the wedding of a lifetime. For a price, of course.
The couple would have to compete on a summer reality show called "Race to the Altar." It is designed to be similar to an "Amazing Race" around the country with mental and physical challenges.
Couples will be eliminated and the winning couple gets what the casting director says is a wedding to "rival Princess Di's." The wedding will be broadcast live on NBC.
Applications are available at www.lmnotv.com. Producers are also going around the country, starting in Seattle this weekend, taking applications and meeting with potential players. Additional stops will be in San Diego, Memphis, San Antonio, Indianapolis, New York, Detroit, Philadelphia and Los Angeles.
