View Full Version : Who enjoyed the guest appearancce of Rozelle Gayle besides me?

Rozelle Gayle was the drunk with the loud voice at the bar who James didn't want to talk in the episode Florida Goes Back to School-It's his voice and size that makes him funny. He also appeared on the Jeffersons and Sanford and Son. Anyone else like this character?

I especially liked him as the piano mover in the Jeffersons episode, Mr. Piano Man, "you jive turkey."

I know that episode with him as the piano mover was funny. I wonder if Rozelle talked like that in real life. That voice was just in a category of it's own.

He also plays the guy that ripped all the people off..."Fra-zee??? " I think thats what his name was. The "JJ takes in a Border" episode...he was ganster like in that one, not goofy like he was at the bar with James.

Now i never saw that 1978 episode of Good Times. But since my UPN station airs it i Will be on the lookout for that episode.

I always loved Rozelle Gayle in his various roles. I believed he died in 1986
