MARG HELGENBERGER: DON’T CALL ME MARG. Marg Helgenberger has made a career of playing strong women. On the hit show CSI, she plays TV’s toughest dame: Catherine Willows, a former stripper turned forensics investigator. BIOGRAPHY: MARG HELGENBERGER: DON’T CALL ME MARG reveals that Marg is just as strong as her onscreen characters. Part of it comes from her parents. Marg's mother is a 23-year survivor of breast cancer. Her dad bravely battled MS for five years before dying in 1985. Both parents were inspiration for her critically acclaimed role as cancer victim Donna Jensen in the film Erin Brockovich.

Today she has mastered the precarious balancing act of marriage, family and career. Happily married to actor Alan Rosenberg and mother of Hugh, age 12. Her commitment to family led a series that would keep her home in L.A. The result was CSI.
